Snakes. And yet I still feel bad about DH running one over with the lawn mower this morning. Do your feelings ever surprise you?

I like our local non-venomous snakes. The ones that we occasionally see remove the rats and mice that sometimes test out our neighborhood. I figure if the snakes are here, there is a reason and I prefer them to a chemical response to the critters. Eat up, boys!
I'm also partial to sharks because the ocean really needs them and they get such a bad rap because of their, um, unconventional good looks, but I give them a wide berth when I see them in the water!

I keep seeing spiders in the house, but decide to let them be. DH may not be so kind.

I had the opposite reaction a few years ago when I saw a rattlesnake in the yard. I've never been afraid of snakes or things, and am actually quite fascinated by them. But when I saw that rattlesnake my first instinct was to kill it, ha. I still feel kind of bad about it.

The only thing I hate more than sharks is...nothing. Kill the sharks! I know that's mean and they have a purpose, you're more likely to be attacked by a dog than a shark (well duh, because I spend most of my time on land), blah blah blah. But I don't care...I just want like a giant steel cage wall in the ocean that stops sharks from getting anywhere near shore. I swear if I ever saw one I would die before it ever even got too close, because I would have a heart attack or pass out from fear and drown.
I guess it would be much harder to accidentally kill a shark than a snake though, haha. The only other animals I am really creeped out by are certain bugs, but squashing bugs is such a normal thing that it's never phased me.

I'm petrified of snakes! But like @swedishfish: I would prob feel bad if I killed one. I just don't want to encounter them... So long as I don't ever see them, and they don't see me, we can coexist harmoniously
Sharks - I think they are really cool. I'm not in the ocean much , if ever, so I guess I don't ever think about them I would hope ppl don't kill them!!!

Snakes?? In your garden?? Say Whaaaaaat??? The only snakes I've ever been anywhere near are in tanks at the zoo. And I don't like them that close!!

Snakes...outside just gross me out.
I also hate bugs in my house, doesn't matter what kind (ants, spider, fly), but I hate killing them too so I make DH

@MediaNaranja: lol! Me too.
I am the opposite. When I see stuff I don't like, I'm immediately in "KILL" mode. I hate snakes and sharks and many other aquatic things... Also hate groundhogs and others. I am not an animal person (I do love me some kitties and doggies though!)
