That's pretty awesome. I couldn't fathom spending that much money on a stroller so no, I wouldn't. But I think it's neat for those who do get to have it!

Kind of on the same lines as what @blushink was saying-- the more fancy it is, the more likely stuff will malfunction and break down. Even if it stopped working with your kid safely tucked away, what are you going to do with a stroller that (a) won't open or (b) won't close? Especially if that's the whole gimmick in the first place.

@Andrea: hehe the stroller i registered for is about 28 pounds. it's a double though!

@tequiero21: well that makes sense. there is probably no way to get a super light double. so this thing would probably be 60 lbs for a double!

Ok, I spent the time to look at the specs. It's got all sorts of sensors and I highly doubt that it would ever malfunction and squish a kid. People in the stroller business are not going to make something that intentionally can harm a child.

It's got a manual override if anything did break. It has a two-step fold so you can't just push a button by accident and it folds.

It weighs way too much. It is cool that it has a generator though so it doesn't need batteries to work.

I don't like how at $850 it doesn't have the option for a second seat OR to be able to face baby. The small cargo area is laughable.

The price is no worse than a Bugaboo.

@nycalimama- The Donkey cracks me up. I'm a huge fan on in-line doubles because those double wides can't get anywhere and then you just look like a fool trying to plow your way down an aisle! I think that if you're able to spend the ~$1500 on a Donkey there are a lot of other strollers that you could be looking at and go out to a really nice dinner afterwards.

Wow. Pretty cool stroller, but the price tag is way too hefty for me. The one we chose folds up using just one hand, so that sounds easy enough!

That's way too expensive just for the power option. I have the city mini and it's convenient and easy enough with the one had fold.

I saw it at Buy Buy Baby and got to play with it. It was cool, but I'm not sure that I would buy it. I guess they are coming out with a playpen, too. Now, that I would probably be more likely to consider.

I love their Mamaroo (not the cost though), but I wouldn't get this. It seems a bit much. Folding our stroller isn't a big deal, really lol

$850 is way more than I would consider spending on a stroller.

They had a baby shower type show on "Ellen" and the entire audience got one of these strollers for free! I would never be able to justify the purchase or afford it. I was so jealous that they all got them!

Hehe, we just discovered this stroller at Buy Buy Baby and DH had so much fun playing with it! Have you guys seen it in person? It's like something out of a sci fi movie.
