I have walked..rolled on a ball and sex to get labor going. Today is my due date and nothing.they say he is still pretty high. He is head down I'm softening dilated at 1cm. But he is high. They did those sweeps on me and I'm bleeding but no real cramps or anything. What have u done to make him drop..next thing is to go to the beach and walk in the deep sand. Help!!! I want him out!

I want to know too! So far I have been walking and bouncing on my ball. I had a stretch and sweep two days ago but nothing came of that. I'm 3cm, so things are moving but my friends still say baby looks high.

@delight: does it kind of bother u a little bit when they say u still look high? Our bothers me because I just want him to drop and come already!! Its frustrating!

@BabyMats: I was bothered yesterday when my friend said I was still so high. I was actually thinking I was low. The doctor said baby was "way down" even. So yeah I was bothered yesterday. Everyone will make comments I suppose. I wish I could enjoy these last few days more but I just keep expecting my water to break or contractions to start at any second!
But it would be good to speed things along!

I feel the same way. I even have my big puppy a bath hoping the the bending over and scrubbing and reaching would do something but no.
It's annoying because my parentsand in laws are staring at me like I'm going to suddenly give birth at any moment!This needs to speed up!

I'm due today too! And...nothing.
My midwife suggested lunges on the stairs, deep squats, and a TON of bouncing on an exercise ball.
My husband is actually going to talk to his family, because I'm getting texts and emails and calls NON STOP asking if the baby is here yet.As of last week, I was 1 cm dilated, and baby was at a -3. She's at a -2 or -1 now - so she's moving down, but not fixed in my pelvis or anything. We can do it, ladies!!

I bounced a ton on my ball and kept my hips wide while on it - BUT, my baby never really dropped - but I did go into labor even though he still seemed high
