@gingerbebe: thanks. How does it taste? I know its an american classic, but I've actually never had it. Do you use sticky rice, or white long grain rice? I think I'll give this a try since it seems like it will be pretty easy.

Tue: BBQ pulled chicken sandwiches with veggies
Wed: homemade pizza (going to Wild Wednesday at the zoo)
Thurs: grilled hamburger/turkey burger

@Pumpkin Pie: it's like slightly mushy rice in a light creamy chickeny gravy/sauce with veggies. It's like if you cooked off all the broth in chicken and rice soup and were left with the soggy afters but creamier? I would use medium to long grain rice, or just use Minute Rice. Sticky rice would turn out too sticky I think.

Sa: kids stay with my parents, so a mixed salad with lettuce, ham, cheese and whatever we feel like for us.

crock pot: pot roast, mashed potatoes, roasted carrots
TH: out with friends for her birthday so the boys will probably get burritos
shrimp pesto tortellini with roasted asparagus
waffles for dinner
