Do you cut their bangs?
DDs bangs are really long and often in her eyes but I really do not want to cut them.

I did and I regret it. She was a little over two and wouldn't really let me put her hair up in anyway. Now, she is a year out letting the bangs grow and it is looking better. I really wish I hadn't cut them.

Madeline doesn't have any hair... lol. But I would totally cut her bangs!

Yup. The first time I did it I tried to give too much of her hair a trim around the ears and it looked a little like a mullet. But lesson learned and I still cut them, she looks cute with bangs.

She doesn't have enough hair but I won't. I would jack them up.

Lala has a cowlick at the very front of her forehead. It looks much better with bangs.

We are having this debate right now!
I talked with my mom about it and she sent me a picture of me as a little girl growing out my bangs, awkward. I don't think I'm going to do it. Growing out your bangs is hard when you're a baby or a grown up.

Yes. I take her to a professional and we cut her bangs about every 4 months.

It took me way too long to do it.... I didn't want to cut her baby hair off so I waited until it was a shaggy mess. Then we went to a professional, since it was the first haircut. But I only had them cut her bangs.

I haven't and do not plan on it. Her bangs are in her eyes but I push them to one side. I utilize a hair elastic and give her a pebbles look since her bangs are super straight. I also use a clip but she is more likely to pull the clip out and the hair elastic lasts longer.

Yup. We get them trimmed every so often at the children's salon. Otherwise it would poke her eyes

DD has bangs and we take her to a kiddie hair place to have it cut.

I cut hers really short (oops), but she looked cute and now they're long again and poking her eyes.

Nope. She's two now and still without a haircut. I hear too many people say they regret bangs so I'm not doing it (even though I have bangs). She lets me put her hair up everyday so for now I'm not getting it cut.
Her "bangs" go down to her chin and the back is nearly to the middle of her back. The sides are almost to her shoulders. This is just a point of reference that I'm dealing with a fair amount of hair.
We did the "Pebbles" hairdo for a long time, now I side sweep into a "pony" her bangs and use a bow.

I haven't but I'm debating it because her hair is so long on top. I usually keep her hair in pigtails so it stays out of her face.

No, my LO has tons of hair and her hair is literally the only thing I'm totally sentimental about. I don't know when scissors will touch her hair but it won't be anytime soon!!
I pin her hair away from her face, or put it into pigtails every day.
pomegranate / 3917 posts
No way! Pigtails (more like 4-6 elastics, lol) to keep hair out of her face!
Her mullet part however? Needs a trim!!!

No bangs here. Lo is nearly 21 months and tolerates clippie biws and hair elastics pretty well. I am banking on growing her hair as long as i can.

She's only 5.5 months, so not yet. I just clip it to the side. I don't think I would do it unless she wants it when she's older. It's such a pain when I get mine and it's bothering me after 1 week. I can't imagine keeping her still for a good trim every few weeks!

I cut my first daughters bangs and ended up regretting it horribly. I learned my lesson and will not cut bangs for my second daughter.

i wish R had enough hair for me to even consider it! at this rate, i'll be happy if she has enough hair by her 2nd birthday! waah!

I need to see pictures!!!
My LO is 21 months and haven't cut her hair yet. I clip her hair to the side and tie it back in a ponytail. I am reluctant to cut bangs bc I hated having bangs growing up and growing them out was such a pain

I had my Mom cut them twice, then my husband ask if we could grow her bangs out. We're using a clip right now, she's usually in pigtails.
pomegranate / 3503 posts
Yes, she has bangs. She refuses clips or having her hair in a pony tail. Bangs are the only way to keep her hair out of her face. I trim them every 1.5 months so.

We have some really short bangs for now Hoping to grow them out when the rest of her hair grows out.

She's 2 and I haven't touched her hair yet. I'm afraid to, especially b/c it took so long to grow!
