Induced at 37 weeks due to IUGR. Had epidural inserted immediately with threat of C-section due to immediate decels with pitocin. Reached 10cm in 7 hours and pushed DS out in 3 sets of pushes because OB threatened to cut me if I didn't push him out NOW.

Enduced due to High BP, got a epi, stalled at 7 cm. After 14 hours of back labor finally pushed for 2 1/2 hours & got a fever which caused baby's heartrate to increase. Emergency c-section ending with a sweet 8 lb 10 oz baby who came out sunny side up & headed to NICU for breathing issues.

I was convinced it wasn't 'real' labor until they were insterting the epidural. I started pushing at 12:00am and DS was born at 12:08am with a slight vacuum assist. We spent less than 48 hours in the hospital and next time I will pay for a private room.

2. Labored at home forever. Got an epidural at 10 cm. Pushed for 30 minutes, perfect baby.
3. Large snow storm = labored at home forever. Got to hospital at 7cm. Delivered healthy baby girl less than 2 hours later, epi didn't even have time to work.

@littlebug: A friend of mine had the same problem. Her son's head kept getting stuck in the birth canal. They found out that he was breech during her pushing. She ended up with a c-section.

DS: Water broke early morning but no contractions. Induced the next morning with barely any pain medication. Finally gave birth to a healthy baby boy (surprise!) mid-afternoon.
DD: Labored at home all day. Water broke just as we parked for the valet at the ER entrance right before midnight. Was still half clothed when we delivered a healthy baby girl (surprise!) completely med free.

First sign of labor was my water breaking. I only had to push for 20 minutes and thank God for the epidural! Pretty smooth delivery expect the massive bleeding I experienced right after she was born

Love these!
Water questionably broke (more like trickled) and contractions didn't kick in, so we went in and I was induced with pitocin. After 6 hours I was only a 3, but went from 3 to 10 (no pain meds, holy ouch, transition!) in a couple of hours. 10 hours after induction, my beautiful son was born (and destroyed my lady bits...)

@jedeve:
Water broke - pea soup
Induced, epidural failed.
But she was healthy.
And that's all that mattered
