I recently started my 3rd trimester and suddenly my 2 yo has become more attached to me. He wants to sit in my ever-shrinking lap, hug me, kiss me, be picked up by me. It's really, really sweet; I'm not at all complaining. But I wonder if this is related to the baby. If he *knows* his world is about to be turned upside-down, or if it's just a coincidence.

In the first few months, I actually felt like he was pulling away from me. He stopped nursing and became closer to DH. Now it seems like it's swinging back to me. I'm also wondering how this will all play out once his sister arrives. Will he be able to back off when the time comes?

(I'm putting this in Toddlers, but maybe it's Pregnancy??)
