My 2 year old has cradle cap on part of his scalp. I wash his hair every other day. Does anyone have this same issue with their LO? Can you suggest a shampoo that is more gentle? How the heck do we get rid of this? We've been using Burt's Bees baby shampoo.

I don't have a suggestion but my 2 has the same. I noticed it this summer when I washing daily, switched to every other and wash with dove body wash. It's better but still there.

little bit of selsun blue was suggested to me by my pediatrician. once a week til it's gone. i only did it two times.

My 1 year old had some really thick cradle cap. I rubbed some coconut oil in, really generously, and let it sit for 30 or so minutes. Then I used a fine tooth comb and very carefully combed (it will pull the hair out if you aren't careful) the cradle cap out.
It took a couple of applications, spread over a few days to get most of it out but it did work! Oh and when you wash their hair afterwards, really work the shampoo in, and do a couple of washes/rinses, otherwise his hair will be super oily the next day.
