My DD’s is 14m and her hair’s starting to really get in her face. On the weekends I tend to put it in pigtails, but usually she pulls them out at some point, mostly at nap.

I have been reluctant to put anything in her hair when she goes to daycare because I figure it’ll just come out and some point and I don’t want it to be a choking hazard for another kid (so far she hasn’t seemed interested in putting them in her mouth). But looking at her this morning I think we’re going to have to start doing something or it’ll be in her eyes. I don’t want to cut it because then we’ll have to maintain her bangs.

Should I just send her to school with hair ties and and the teachers manage it? Or wait until she doesn’t pull them out?
