Ive read a few posts on here and I was a little curious about what my 3 month old should be playing with. Is she too young for a saucer or a jumper? Which one is better? She is just starting to hold toys now. Any recommendations?

I didn't put my son in the jumper until 4 months (that's what most of the jumpers say as a minimum age and I kept to that even though he had very good head control). At that age, my son really liked the "winkle" toy and some of the Lamaze creatures....pretty much anything that he could fit in his hands to suck on : )

At 3 months she liked the little Lamaze Classic Discovery Book, at 4 months it's still one of her faves! We also got her this chair and it occupied her enough for me to eat (a quick) breakfast.

We used a play gym at that stage I think, also good for tummy time.

At that age, C really liked her soft Lamaze toys and little rattles.

An activity mat is a great option, also any rattle toys, soft books, any mirror toys, things that light up or play music.

My son loved his little plush lion that made a sound when you crinkle it. He loved that sound, he thought it was like the best thing ever.

We had a colorful blanket I spread out on the floor and some photographs and pictures of paintings to show our LO (postcards and smallish prints from museums are good for this). 3 month-old babies just like being with you. No other entertainment necessary!

We used a play gym and I gave her rattles/crinkly toys. She also liked batting at the toys on her bouncer. We didn't put her in the jumperoo until she was four months old.

Lamaze play gym, Lamaze Freddie the Firefly and WInkel toy are the huge hits in our house.

books! My LO loved to look at pictures at this age, and loved my voice so she liked it when I read to her. I agree that you are the best toy, but rattles and an activity mat can be helpful ways to facilitate your play.
