I've heard so much about this place from you ladies. I'm excited to see if it's really that amazing. They're opening up a branch later this year!
What's your favorite item from TJ? Why is it so amazing?

Yay!! We just got one last year. It's not in the most convenient spot, so I've only been to it a couple of times.

Oh yay, congrats! TJ is awesome. Most of their stuff is yummy, but off the top of my head, some of my current faves:
- Pumpkin pancake mix (LO's favorite too!)
- Pumpkin butter
- TJ's mushroom & emmental cheese pizza
Gosh so many more, but that's what I can think of right off the top of my head. Their produce is really good and affordable too.

WOO HOO! I really love their bacon!
I got a lot of ideas from this older thread http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/what-are-your-favorite-things-from-trader-joes#post-244944
I would love to hear new favorites and suggestions from other bees!

Their chicken andoiulle makes an AWESOME and authentic tasting red beans and rice. And it's cheap. Seriously, so damn good and now I want it!! Ha. Other things I like are frozen mandarin chicken (though may be a little lame compared to the real food you eat! Ha), fancy vanilla wafers, chicken and sundried tomato tortellini in the prepared food section, and pizza bagels. I used to go there a lot for lunch where I used to work. We don't have one close enough to do real shopping there regularly.

oh man you're going to love it! I almost exclusively shop at TJ's! So much good stuff I can't even remember all of it, but here are some of the items I regularly pick up at TJ's!
- Pre-cut and packaged butternut squash (in season).
- Frozen artichoke hearts
- Dark Chocolate Covered Nutty Bits (nut clusters half covered in dark choc. Everyone I've given these to have loved them - so addicting!)
- Chevre Goat Cheese logs. Well, all their cheeses are great!
- Trader Joe's Truffle Brownie Mix (the recipe for the cookies are excellent!)
- Kefir milk in pomegranate and strawberry
- Mixed nuts bags
- Mini heirloom tomatoes
- Bruschetta
- Dark Chocolate Covered Pretzel Thins
- Pretzel Thins with any of their hummus (esp. the sun-dried tomato one, I love)
- Trader Joe's Mango & Cream (ice cream/sorbet) bars (I have to always keep these stocked in our freezer! A nice little treat under 100 calories!)
I could go on and on...

@shopaholic: My LO loves the butternut squash! I need to try more of your favorites!

I went in one for the first time a couple weeks ago-truth be told...amazing! Chocolate crossants, fried Mac and cheese, samosas, cilantro and chive dip, pita chips, pear apple cider.

I'm excited to check it out too! A friend of mine loves TJ and stocks up whenever she visits family in Chicago. I'm very interested!

Dark chocolate PB cups

Parmesan potatoes (frozen)
All flavors of the fruit and cream or coffee and cream bars

So many things to love!

Oh man, I'm excited!
@sarbear: I can't think of a empty space in that plaza!

My favorite things (in no particular order) are their natural crunchy peanut butter, chicken apple sausage and edamame hummus. Enjoy!

@regberadaisy: that's what I was thinking! We were there yesterday and I don't know where they could put it! And just one more thing in an already overcrowded plaza! The only downside
GOLD / wonderful pomegranate / 28905 posts
The plus is there is so much in that plaza you only have to fight traffic once!

@regberadaisy: Yea! We love it for nitrate free bacon and sandwich meat, grass fed beef, organic fruits and veggies, almond butter, coconut oil and dried fruits sans added sugar!

We just got one. Loveeeee it. The gorgonzola-filled gnocchi? Omnomnom.

@regberadaisy: Well, I used to live in CA so I had been to them before. I definitely like the variety of foods they offer, and you can't pass up their 2 buck chuck

We don't have one around here, but I wish we did. The LO's I used to nanny for out of state went there a lot, and they have lots of yummy things!
