Anyone have a baby in the transverse position (sideways)? I am 30 weeks tomorrow, and he is laying side to side, like I'm a hammock!
Did your LO flip in time for delivery?

My baby was transverse breech at 30 weeks, and he's been footling breech off and on since 31 weeks. I'm at 34.5 weeks now and he is FINALLY vertex. I've been doing this circuit that one of the other bees suggested, as well as pelvic tilts. That seemed to do the trick!

@grizz: I'll have to try that, thanks! I'm afraid to lay on my right side because I feel like I'm smushing his head! Kid needs to move on down.

DS1 flipped transverse toward the end. I did this http://www.spinningbabies.com/techniques/241-inversion and he flipped head down before he was born.

LO had been sideways for the last week. It's such a weird feeling. I'm 28 weeks and I'm going to ask my Dr. about it tomorrow!

@Bookworm: What did your dr end up saying? Mine is hoping he'll turn by 36 weeks. If not, I guess they'd schedule a c section!

@Pepper: Not much, actually! She just said that she'd keep an eye on it, and sure enough, I felt LO go head down about 3 days ago. Your show any sign of moving?

I did. She moved head down a week before my due date and then back to transverse, if you can believe that. I would have actually had to get a C-section for other reasons. Acupuncture and moxa sticks helped turn her.

@Bookworm: Not yet. He's still just hanging out with his head in my right side! He does move around a lot in there though. I'm wondering if he just defaults to that position.
@BKCaribBaby: Oh my gosh, did it hurt for her to keep moving like that so late in your pregnancy?

I think my oldest was and then he went completely breech and stayed that way b/c I felt his head under my boobs for the longest time and all of his hiccups were on the right side. He was basically jack knifed in my belly with his legs up my left side and butt in my pelvic area. Never felt the pain down there until I was pregnant with my second and I said, "aaah, that's the pressure most women talked about." My OB suggested getting on all fours but said the chances of him turning is slim so I just left him.
