what do you use as a trash can in your car? Thanks to LO I always have dirty wipes or other things that I need to dispose of in the car. sometimes I stuff them in the cup holder in the door and then have to remember to go back and clean it out. There has to be a better option right?

My MIL has a reusable garbage bag that hangs from her glove compartment. I'm not sure where she got it from but it's a little small.

I've seen on Pinterest using a cereal plastic container that just has the half lid that pops up... Does that make sense?

I usually have a grocery bag that I throw trash into. One time I had a tissue box in the car and when all the tissues were gone, I started putting my trash in it. Worked pretty well!

You mean you don't just use the car as a trash can? D'oh! We just use a reusable grocery bag looped over the headrest of a seat and then wash it if it ever gets grungy.

You know you're a mom of a toddler when you think about trash bags...I was just thinking I need to keep a few small ones in my backpack for situations like this. In the car at th emoment, we use plastic bags from the grocery store, which is terrible for the environment, but I prefer that over having to take a container in and out to wash.

@Regberadaisy; I think I have clean trash? Like, all the diaper-y stuff goes in the wet bag, so it's mostly just dry un-stinkifying garbage.

We have a little container on the floor of the backseat but it drives me crazy when it tips over!! "find good trashcan for the car" has been on Wagon Sr.'s to do list for months!!!

I haven't found one I feel safe having in the car so for now I just take everything out when we get home.
That one lawbee suggested is neat though... Wonder how it would be with stuff in it?... Idk I feel weird even having drinks/cans/cups in the car after learning about projectiles in a crash. Freaks me out! Lol

We just use a little plastic bag and hang it on one of the arm rests. Works perfect!

@Mrsbells: lol...there *has* got to be a better option.. Like you, I stuff my trash in a cup, basically. I always drink coffee in the car, so I use that disposable, paper coffee cup to stuff trash into and, by the time I get home, it's full, so I toss it and its contents into my kitchen trash can.

I just use a plastic grocery bag and throw it away at home. I think that if I bought an actual trash can for the car, I'd probably forget (or be too lazy) to empty it out every day.
