Would you make sure your destination was within a reasonably short distance of a hospital...just in case?

I went on a week-long vacation at 32 weeks and was fine. I didn't care that it wasn't close to my hospital, but I wouldn't have gone somewhere where medical care was sketchy

I would make sure there was a hospital reasonably close (i.e. - I wouldn't want to be in some remote location). I also wouldn't want to be in a foreign country.

@Jess1483: @Bluebonnet: That's what I was thinking... Maybe a 2.5 hour drive from reliable medical care is too far!

I'll be in Florida in 2 weeks and I'll be 30 weeks and some change....Not even concerned with it, honestly. I'm sure there's a hospital nearby?..heh.

I am planning on a week at the beach when I will be 32w. But it's only 3 hours drive from our house and close to hospitals, etc. so unless I have any complications I'm not worried about it.

I wouldn't need to be near MY hospital if pregnancy was going well, but I wouldn't leave the country and I wouldn't go anywhere remote.
