T is 9 months and we are retiring her infant car seat in my car and putting in the convertible car seat- which was previously our backup when we used one of our other cars. I am now shopping for a lightweight carseat for the few times a month she does not ride in my car and for the 3 flights we are taking next year that will be easy to quickly install in a cab- I would love for it to last us at least until she is 2. Right now she weighs 17 lbs. I would double love something that ships via Amazon Prime. Any recommendations?

how tall is she? our combi cocorro has been great for flights, but has a lower height limit. DD1 can still fit FFing at 2y10m even though she's in the upper 80/90s percentile.

I would be willing to upgrade for something lighter weight and use it for travel and our primary car seat.

@youboots: oh, then you're fine for a while! we stopped using it as our primary when my mom upgraded our seat to the foonf, but that thing is NEVER traveling anywhere! ha. since our kiddo is a giant, we had to switch her FFing around 2 because she was so tall, so that's why we wanted the foonf for ERFing. but we still use the combi FFing in DH's car and my mom's car. we've taken it on two flying trips and the one we had her in her car seat, she napped on the flights.
it's a light seat. we used a rolling bag to transport when we gated checked it and then a mountain buggy nano to strap it to when she had her own seat.

We use the Cosco Scenera for flying and as an extra seat for my dad's car. My DD is 2 now and has tons of room to grow. We use a Clek Fllo as our primary carseat though.
