Sorry ladies I was away for a few days and just catching up. I have no idea what "thread" you were all talking about!
@catlady: I'm so sorry. This sucks big time.
@zbug: @jojogirl: I'm happy to see good news from
Both of you girls!!

@mrsjd: I just saw this on the other thread but congrats again! You've been at this a long time, I hope this is it!! I also had spotting with my healthy DD until about 7w!

@mrsjd: this is so exciting!!!!!!! congratulations, I'm so happy to hear this. It has to be implantation if you're still this early--of all the things I could think of to worry about, I'd actually take that as a good sign that something happened! Xxx

@Zbug: @delight: @catlady: my heart is bursting. Thank you all so very much. I love the stories about spotting and successful pregnancies. For what's it's worth, it was not much and totally brown and has now appeared to stop. I'm supplementing my progesterone per doctors orders right now so staying positive.
@LCTBQE: that's a great way to look at it! It is super early and with my chemical I had zero spotting until the day i realized I was losing it and then I got a heavy period within 8-10 hours. I also had some serious cramping which I don't have right now. And that would've been like 18dpo.
The worst part is waiting to call my doctor on Monday. I'm definitely going to ask for betas, which I didn't have last time so that I can see if this is viable.
The cutest thing was that my husband told me this morning that he told his friend about it last night. That's so unlike my husband that I know he is really excited. His friend is super trustworthy so I'm not worried about him blabbing.

@mrsjd: maybe I'm batty, but it truly doesn't sound like this even counts as real pregnancy spotting and actually might not be such a bad thing to have to wait until Monday, because it'll give your numbers a chance to get rolling a tiny bit. like, maybe your first number won't be 17 or something and then you freak out because it's so low, so early, etc. are you going to ask to test progesterone, too?
clementine / 777 posts
@LCTBQE: I don't think I will because I'm supplementing already so I assume that it won't be accurate. I'll let them test for whatever they want though!

Hi Ladies, I am going to jump in here. We started ttc again after our son passed away in June last year (born premature at 29w). It's already been a hellish rollercoaster of grief and fear. I'm sorry to see some familiar faces here (i hope you graduate soon). But I'm glad to have the support.

@JoJoGirl: Thank you, that means a lot. I am sorry for your loss as well.

@catlady: that is total bs!!! can you change doctors?
@mrsjd: fx!
@FreckledFox: I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope this thread brings you a bit of comfort as you start TTCing again, and that your stay here is short!
@JoJoGirl: congrats! I hope the calm sets in soon.

@jaguar: I'm doing ok. Dreading my EDD at the end of Feb, but I'm looking forward to getting back on Clomid next month. How are you?

@Crystal: hi I'm trying to work out if a weekend away or even a night away is an option for our edd in March. Maybe that could be something you can plan for your date in Feb?! I can't believe how fast it's coming around.
I'm not expecting AF until later this week but it freaking looks like it's arriving early for the first time EVER! I'm so gutted.

@MrsDragon: how are you going? Hope there have been no more awkward family gathering moments. 2016 has to be a better year for us all!

@Nutella: Ok -- not awesome but ok. No more awkward family BS but I did have a random acquaintance (my daughter's dance class teacher) make a "Mommy should have another baby!" type comment in the grocery store. I'm just counting down to my appointments this week, although I'm starting to stress about where they'll lead. And I think my NP may be moving out of town which is SUPER scary to think about because I don't even know who to see next, if that's the case. If she does tell me she's moving I'm going to straight up ask her who in the practice is going to actually be sympathetic and helpful to me, so I can switch without worrying about asinine comments (I hope).

@MrsDragon: yeah it's so hard to find a compassionate healthcare provider. I think they just get so jaded and immune to the whole process they just don't understand the human aspect. I'm dreading going back to my doctor for follow up thyroid tests because I heard from a friend (pregnant & using that doctor) that she is also pregnant and due soon after I would have been. I'm just a bring to avoid that discussion but she has all my records so it would be silly to change.
I'm extra gutted today because o usually have a 13-14 day lp but this month it seems to be 11 days with AF showing her face early! Or else it's just crazy heavy spotting
I'm declaring it couch and chocolate day.

My appointment was today: measuring 6w5d (1 day ahead), hb 130. OB says I'm not out of the woods yet, but right now, everything looks exactly as it should be. When we heard the heart beating I just burst into tears. I was so convinced it was doomed.
Noticed as soon as I got home tonight that I'm having (for the first time) some light brown/light pink spotting. Do you guys think it's just disruption from the transvaginal, or should I be worried?
ETA: just remembered she also did a pap smear for me (they didn't have one on record) right before the ultrasound. so maybe that caused the spotting?

PS: realize it's a rough day on here. I hope everyone is hanging in there. @MrsDragon: every time I hear that kind of comment, I just assume that woman is blissfully, stupidly, undeservedly blessed by not having had this trouble. in November a person at my work right back from mat. leave was like, "when are you going to have a baby, you'd be SUCH a great mom". nice compliment, but I was literally actively miscarrying when she said that. I hope your NP stays put or has a colleague she trusts for you.
@FreckledFox: I am so, so very sorry to hear this. welcome to our thread, I hope you find it to be as supportive as I do.
@Nutella: ah hon, that sucks, I'm sad to read about this month. but a typical 13-14 day LP is great, no? hoping that it goes back to normal next cycle. xx

@LCTBQE: oh that's wonderful news to hear! Really must have been a relief to see and hear the heartbeat! thanks for the good news! Hope you start to feel some more relief soon Xx

@LCTBQE: this is so wonderful! I totally bet it's from the Pap smear. Congratulations!

@Crystal: I know - the due dates are gut wrenching. *hugs* Just going quietly mad.

@jaguar: did you guys do anything special on your dates? I feel like being far away would be ideal but unfortunately we can't wing a big trip that soon...

@MrsDragon: @Shantuck: @Crystal: @catlady: Thank you ladies for the warm welcome. I'm sorry that we are all here.
@LCTBQE: Congrats on seeing that little heartbeat! I'm praying that all goes well for you and that little miracle bean.
clementine / 777 posts
@LCTBQE: Squealed when I saw this! Grow little bean!
Also I wouldn't been terribly concerned about the spotting. Easier said than done, I know, but I'm sure it's just from the ultrasound disruption or pap smear. I always spot after my pap. I think I have a sensitive cervix.

@LCTBQE: That's wonderful news! Congrats on seeing the heartbeat!
I just had an appointment with an RE given that I'm over 35 and had just hit one year of trying with 2 miscarriages in less than 6 months. This RE offered the option of a Clomid/IUI cycle before trying more drastic measures so I think that is on deck for me next. He was definitely more optimistic than the last RE I met and was reassuring that I have a few good eggs despite these back to back recent losses. I'm actually feeling really optimistic about the whole thing.

@Zbug: Thank you <3@
Shantuck: Sounds like a wonderful appointment! I hope that the IUI gives you the stickiest of babies

@LCTBQE: great news! I'm sure the bleeding is from the exam. They told me at my TV US that some bleeding would happen.
My cousin works at high risk Ob and said the cervix is so fragile the first few weeks. She said bleeding after sex or ultrasound is very common. As long as you aren't filling more than a pad a hour they aren't too worried.

@LCTBQE: Congratulations! I bet the spotting was the pap smear. I always have spotting after a pap.

@LibbyLou: That's great to know - I've been spotting after sex since getting pregnant so wondered if that was the case.
