If you could choose between a Tula, Manduca or Ergo, which would you choose? The Sleep Store is having a 20% sale and I've always pondered about getting a carrier 
For reference my LO is eighteen months old, about 9.5kg (25lb's maybe?) and 85cm tall and I think she'd like being worn but I'd also like the option of carrying an infant in the future.

Tula, hands down. Both the Manduca and the Ergo hurt my hips. I like the wider seat of the Tula as well.

I have an Ergo and it's served us well for the last 3 years.
Haven't tried the other ones!

i have heard amazing things about the tula, but since i already have other SSCs, i am waiting till LO gets bigger and will get a toddler sizedTula - which might good for your 18 mo, but maybe not a future infant (though i have not researched the size/weight requirements for the toddler vs baby Tulas).

Thanks ladies, I'm leaning towards a standard Tula, A isn't a big toddler and I'd like something I can use in the future too!

@Kemma: I would try a toddler on if I were you. I tried both when LO was 12m and am glad I didn't get the standard.

Thanks for all your advice ladies, I've decided on holding off buying a carrier at the moment, I've done a bit of research and I probably need a toddler carrier (Tula) but I can't justify the cost at the moment (especially as I'm about to buy a new carseat so we can remain rear-facing!). Hopefully the website will run another sale at a later date

What I like about the manduca is that it doesn't require an extra infant insert.

Can you try the different carriers somewhere? I bet your friend would let you try it out with your LO. Then you know which one you like best for when the next sale comes around.

Seven months after I originally started looking at carriers I finally took the plunge and bought an Ergo! Much as I would have loved a Tula, The Sleep Store had Ergo's discounted from $220 down to $140 so I ordered a grey one last night - yay!

@californiadreams: I think it helps that LO is old enough to follow my instructions and clung on to me like a monkey while I worked it out!
