I think I would err on the side of having them each in their own room. I have both shared with my siblings, and had my own room, and my mom said having us each in our own room was much easier for bedtime, discipline, building independence, etc.

My husband and I always shared a room growing up. If we have two or more kids we plan on having them share a bedroom and make our spare room a playroom. That way there won't be any toys where the beds are. I feel like I will be able to organize toys, crafts, and books better that way.

We have a three bedroom, and when we have another kid they will each have their own rooms. Especially when one's a baby, all that crying would just wake the other kid up at night.

We currently live in a 3 bedroom house. We use the smallest room as an office and have no plans to give it up. We want our kids to share a room when they are younger, but our hope it to either upgrade to a 4 bedroom house or extend our current one so they don't have to share forever.

I would have them in separate rooms until the younger one was in school (like, no longer needing different attention). Then I'd have them share until jr. high? My brother is three years older than I am and we had to share a room until he was 10 and I was 7.

we have a three bedroom and it's just too hard to think about one waking the other up. charlie's sleep is so good i don't want to mess with it.

We definitely will not be having our kids share a room. We currently have a three bedroom house so each of two kids could have their own room, and then we also have a loft that will be the play room. I think it's important for kids to have their own space. If we had a third kid we would probably add a wall to the loft and make it an additional bedroom (although we will likely be in a different/larger house by then anyway).

We have a 4 yr old and one on the way. Because of the age difference we are house searching currently for an extra bedroom. The oldest will be starting school just a few short months after the baby is due. I wouldn't want his sleep getting interrupted.

DH and I have been talking about this recently. Seeing as his DD is older (8) there is def too big of an age gap between her and our future LO's. So she will have her own room. We have a 3 bedroom house, so seeing as she already has her own room that only leaves one more room available. So we decided at first our future LO's will have to share but we do plan on adding on to our house so when they are older they can have there own room seeing as we plan on having two more.

we're having a boy and girl..... so when they're growing up, they will have separate bedrooms.... but while they are young, we're thinking of just putting them in the same room - probably until they're 3 or so. not sure about logistics yet since we gotta find a new place to live.

we have one and one on the way and the plan is for them to share a room. We don't have an extra bedroom so they will have to share, but the room is pretty big and hopefully it will work out ok!! I think it will be fun and create a lot of memories for them to share a room until they need their own space..i dunno maybe around 11-12.

Depends on their age and sex.

If boy and girl, two different rooms. If less than 2 years apart I may have them share. I know families with children of the oppoite sex children that shared rooms until the children hit puberty.

We have a 3 bedroom 2 bath with a bonus room. If we're still in our current house when we have more LOs, the bonus will be a playroom and they won't share rooms unless we have 3.
