Today I came home after a long day of running around, went to start a load of laundry and my washer won't fill with water! It's getting power fine because it will agitate so something is definitely broken.
I definitely do not have money to fix this, but with a 2 month old baby I don't have much of a choice. I'm wondering if I should consider just buying a new washer. It's an old style top loader, used to work just fine, but it's 9 years old. Looks like I can get another top loader for about $400. I don't know what a repair might cost. What would you do?
I looked on CL and used gas dryers were going for $200. No knowing when it'll go kaput on us. We've been together 15 years and have only had used and hand me down washer and dryers! We hit the bullet and bought a set today. Lowes has a really good sale and if you have a lowes card they are offering 18m 0% financing.
