Anyone else have the "D" (diarrhea - ha, i'm trying not to be too TMI)... during pregnancy??
I've heard about being constipated - but I am definitely not having that issue - the past 4 or 5 days I have one trip to the bathroom that is not pleasant, then it's gone. Maybe this has to do with my celiac disease?? I'm trying to eat really plain food.
I'll be 8 weeks tomorrow...

I go back and forth between the big "d" and the big "c"--can't decide which I hate worse, lol.

I had it, too. It eased up a little in the last trimester.

I'm right where you and @hilsy85 are (7 weeks and 4 days)...and I'm definitely alternating as well!! It's horrible. At least it's only one trip to the bathroom and it's done.

@hellobeeboston: Oh man I had this BAD in the first trimester....especially weeks 4-8. It got better though. Don't worry, plenty of time for constipation, too : )

Yup, I dealt with D only the first tri, no C. But now at the end of the second tri, C has finally caught up with me...

I wasnt constpiated at all in the 1st trimester, I was actually going to the bathroom more regularly and more frequently than before I got pregnant.. so everyone is different.

@hellobeeboston: Yeah, I had a few *very* close calls in the first trimester. Literally it would come on quick and strong and I would have to run to the bathroom. Then, second trimester was more regular, but then became constipated and definitely had some hemorrhoids, too. I'm 29.5 weeks and don't seem to have any issues in THAT dept. these days. Oh the joys!

@hellobeeboston: I deal with the same issue, pregnant or not! You can try the BRATY diet they use on kids, but it can make you go the other way and become constipated. Bland foods and staying hydrated have been the best for me. Boy, do I miss Pepto Bismol when I'm pregnant
