I'm trying to decide between the Summer Infant 2015 3D Lite Convenience Stroller and the Uppa Baby G-Luxe. I'm leaning towards the Summer Infant because it's cheaper, but I really want an Uppa Baby! Thoughts? Or another option?

@jlm22: I don't know anything about the summer infant stroller, but I know the uppa baby one has a really easy recline level so you can do it with one hand. It also has a standing fold. Those are the two features I really like about the UB and feel like it would justify the cost for me.

@agold: Thanks! I should have added that we have a BOB for our primary stroller and I absolutely love it... I just wanted a smaller one for shopping and stuff and I don't know if I can justify spending over $100 for a second stroller! (Well, I can. It's my husband who is the problem )

@jlm22: have you looked at the mountain buggy nano? I am a big fan and the price and quality is similar to the g-luxe. It folds up super small so it's really easy to just keep in the trunk or anywhere, and I like that it has a handle bar instead of two handles, so you can push it with one hand.
Eta: and you can strap an infant seat into it too which is nice- when we travel I plan to just being that and we can use it with the toddler and wear the baby, or put the infant car seat in it and C can walk.
I feel like living here, splurging on a quality stroller is necessary. Too many curbs and cracked sidewalks and the like.
That said I know nothing about the Summer infant one and I know lots of people who love their g-luxe.

@pwnstar: @ValentineMommy: Thanks! I need to convince my husband it's a necessity.
@Foodnerd81: I haven't heard of that! I will look it up. Is that your only stroller? I love my BOB but I'm finding it's big for crowded places.

@jlm22: no, ub vista is our primary stroller. We use the nano if we are taking the car (the vista almost never ever goes in the car) or if I'm taking the T or going someplace crowded. I walk too much to only use the nano. Plus now I have the rumble seat on the vista.

LOVE my uppa baby! And I found it in a resale group for mom's online. The lady sold it to me for super cheap and it was brand new! Her kid refused to use it.

I have a Bumbleride Flyer (discontinued) but the Bumbleride Flite is also a great option from that company! It's super compact folding. If I ever get rid of this stroller I'll probably get the Flite because it folds up smaller (the Flyer takes up my entire trunk area).

We have the same one as @Foodnerd81 and live it. We bought it to travel with, but use it as often as our Baby Jogger in the city. It's so easy to get around tight spaces in stores, coffee shops, etc. and because it's so small, I just leave it in my trunk. It is really easy to push one-handed. I haven't used it outside in the winter, but it was fine all summer and fall. I bought mine on Amazon.

I have the gluxe and love it. Granted it is heavier and bulkier than other umbrellas. But we typically take it on longer trips so having the perks that the gluxe provides is worth it
My local moms group and fb b/s/t group has them for sale all the time. I guess people don't use them as much as they think

@jlm22: we had a Summer one, don't remember which model. I hated it. It was so hard to open and close. I got a GLux on a big sale and I am so glad that I did. We keep it in the car. Then have the Bob stored in the house. It was just too big for every day use.

I have a G-Luxe and love it. It has replaced our regular stroller for daily use, since it's so much easier to get in/out of the car. One thing I don't like, however, is that the most upright position is still kinda reclined too much. LO is always sorta slumped in the seat. He doesn't seem to mind, though.

I have a G-lite and love it. Super light, maneuverable, carry handle! Baby loves it too. He even fell asleep sitting up in there last weekend
