You may recall the post several months ago about my front doors and an acrylic product that provides privacy. So, the vendor gave me a busy and less busy option. I indicated I liked the less busy option, but never gave the final go ahead (I have an email trail). One day he was in the neighborhood and installed the products. I didn't give the final okay, but I let him install it. I liked it alot as it was a big improvement over what I had. A few weeks later, I had second thoughts. I called him and told him as such. He said he would redo it, but in his professional opinion I would just call him back and ask him to switch it back. I agreed to live with it. Another neighbor moved in and picked my design (she said to him give me that house's), but he installed the more busy option. It looks great. Her door is a little different where it's a single door with two small vertical windows on either side. I have a double door. Now, with the holidays and my wreath on the doors my dissatisfaction has grown. The wreath covers up the main design and without the extra design on the bottom and top window panes the window is just not working for me. I reached out to the vendor again and now he's telling me to change it will cost $330. He has a satisfaction guarantee, which he touted during the sales visit, but did not say there was a "return"/ "redesign" fee. How would you proceed?
