What do you think of Dylan and Daryl for a girl?
Do you have any cool unisex D names?

We used a unisex D name for our daughter.
I work with a Daryl but don't particularly love it.
I think Dillon more.

Dylan was one of our top boy choices, but I don't like it for a girl.
How about Dara, Darcy or Dale?

When I read the subject Dylan was the first one that came to mind. My sister considered Dylan for a boy or girl and it took me a minute to get used to it then I really liked it. (he is a boy Dylan now!)
Daryl I don't love as much but could still go both ways. Either one ppl will prob assume its a boy until they meet the girl though- would that bother you?

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: Also, we gave her a very feminine middle name and if anyone kinda questions the first name, we will use both her first and middle when introducing her.

I like Dylan better than Daryl. What about Devyn? We have a friend with a little girl named Devyn and it is really cute. Her nickname is Devi.

I also knew a Dani growing up and she was really pretty. I think its short for Daniella but its very german.

I love the name Dylan for a girl! I taught a Dylan who was a girl and I thought the name was cool then. I'm a huge fan of boy-ish names being used for girls

Dylan - yay, but not Daryl. I think Daryl is more strictly a boy's name.

I loove Dylan for a girl! It was on our list! Daryl, not my cup of tea for a girl...but maybe that's because I watch too much Walking Dead??

I don't like Daryl but Dylan is cute. I know a girl and a boy Dylan.
How about Drew? It's my brother's name and it makes me think of Drew Barrymore.

Not a fan of Daryl for a girl. I love the name Dylan, but I like it more for a boy. I am not usually a fan of unisex names, but I love Drew for a girl!

Dylan, drew, Dana, Dayton, Dani/danny. I'm not sure Daryl would work for a girl (Daryl Hannah, I know, I guess I'm just not feelin it, but to each their own!)

Dylan, yes. Daryl, no. Daryl is not a unisex name, IMO. It's a boys name.
I think Drew is super cute. So is Darcy or Devon/Devin/etc.

I've met a Daryl that was a woman, but I don't think it's unisex at all. My son is a Dylan so I think boy...but I think it can be cute for a girl.

Dawson is the best I can come up with. Mostly masculine but I can see it as a girl's name.

I like Drew, Dani or Devyn/Devin but not Daryl or Dylan. Those two names both seem extremely hyper-masculine to me, and I think unless your girl is VERY pretty, it's hard to pull off. Sorry to seem shallow, but while its cool to see a really gorgeous girl with a boys name, it won't go over as well if she has even a hint of masculine features (larger nose, prominent chin, etc).

I voted yay, but what about Daryn? I think that's nice and slightly more obviously female, with the spelling:)

I like Dylan, not Daryl. Sorry.
I was going to suggest Devon or Devin but looks like others have beat me to it.

Don't mind Dylan but meh to Daryl. I think Dana is more girly. I like Devon/Devin/Devyn too!
Also, what about:
Daniel or Daniella
Dakota
Darcy/Darcey
Dominic/Dominique

I know a female Darryl at work and she gets referred to as "He" constantly by people who don't know her. I think that would be pretty annoying.

I like Dylan but not Daryl. Also on my 'D' list:
Girl/Boy
Devyn/Devin
Dana
Daryn/Darren
Dani/Danny

I like Dylan, but not Daryl (makes me think of Daryl Hannah though!). I know a female "Darren", which is similar!

Another yes to Dylan, no to Daryl. I also like Drew, but not a huge fan of Devin, since it's really common around here.

def like dylan, not too crazy about daryl as a unisex name. I think today's society will also associate daryl with the walking dead character so it'll be taken more as a boy's name than a unisex name?
