Do you mean just from the hospital, or throughout the whole pregnancy?

My only bills were any co-pays that I had. The delivery/hospital was a total of $74,000....which I paid $150 for. (I was in the hospital for 4.5 days with a csection)

Currently pregnant, but the only bills I've received so far was the one from the NT scan because the doctor my OB referred me to was out-of-network (d'oh), and the doctor bill for all my office visits till delivery, my delivery, and 1 post-partum check up. This bill was fully paid for back in February. I'm currently 30 weeks.

The only bills still outstanding will be my hospital stay, my epidural bill (if I get one), and any other hospital supplies I use. Those won't come until post-delivery though.

I never had to pay a thing minus office visit copays. I have an HMO plan.

We have an HMO as well. The year I got pregnant, we had a low deductible and no coinsurance. I paid a pretty decent amount out of pocket & had a lot of confusing bills (lab work, doctors bills, co-pays, etc) from our RE doctor. I satisfied our deductible by December 2010 which was kind of annoying, because a new benefit year started in January 2011 and I wasn't even pregnant yet!

In January 2011, our benefit terms changed. We had a higher deductible AND co-insurance plus co-pays, so that kind of complicated things for me. I had $0 co-pay to see my OB throughout my prenatal care, but because we had co-insurance they were required to collect 100% of the delivery fee upfront (which really confused me!) and I had to pay in full by my 32nd week of pregnancy. It was $3600 for delivery, and I had to pay 10% of that (so $360). We paid coinsurance for things like lab work and ultrasounds.

All my prenatal visits are covered so I had no copay. Also no deductible because I choose to have money taken out of my paychecks. For delivery, it was a flat $250 fee for in patient services. I had a couple bills for my HSG test, genetic counselor meeting, and specialist appts in 2012 (basically, non standard prenatal stuff). E's 30K special care nursery stay was also $250 because she is on my plan.

We had one bill for my doc ($760 covered all visits for my entire pregnancy, plus delivery). We then had a $1900 hospital bill for me and about $1200 for Baby A. I had to stay in the hospital for an exptra day because of a stupid rash. I was there Tuesday night through Sunday morning. I was never so happy to go home. For the amounts we paid, there were separate bills for the hospital, hearing test company and the anesthesiologist.

Oh, and I have what's considered "good" insurance through my employer. Meh.

With my son we had the 80/20 plan, where the insurance company paid for 80% and we paid for 20% and it amounted to a LOT of money. Especially since DS stayed in the NICU for a bit (literally less than 24 hours). My OB/GYN had some sort of payment plan, where every visit I paid a certain amount of money, but I don't remember what that was.
This time around we have a HMO and it should be better this time around (though our co-pays are higher).

I didn't have a whole bunch of tiny bills though.
