Yes, i worry every day and i'm at 29 weeks. I actually dislike it when people ask me, "So, how's baby?" because i usually want to say, "Okay i think...i hope?"

@Freckles: i feel the same way when people ask, i actually sometimes respond "good, i guess?" i actually really dread that question because it feels like i'm "jinxing" him doing well

I was really hoping this would get better in the second trimester, but sounds like the fear stays all through the pregnancy for most of you guys. But yeah, all the time.

I worried a lot. In the beginning, I would say things like, "If this pregnancy sticks..." I had experienced a miscarriage 2 months previously, so I was really nervous. My sister (who'd had a miscarriage herself) finally banned me from saying things like that. I actually found that using more positive and confident language helped me to feel a little bit better. It helped a little to keep telling myself that no amount of worrying would help prepare me for something bad actually happening... all it was doing was keeping me from enjoying the present. I also tried to tell myself that if something horrible happened, I would have a lot of support and I would get through it. I also frequently reminded myself that the odds of everything being okay were very, very high...much higher than the odds of something bad happening. Finally, I tried to rely on my faith and trust that God had things under control.

I hope you feel better... it's no fun to worry.

Yep. Every day until I heard him cry. It's so, so hard to be confident in a pregnancy when you've experienced a loss

I definitely still feel this way. Sometimes i walk by a mirror and see a bump and am like, oh yeah, theres really a baby in there. I think i will feel better when i feel him or her moving around...i hope anyway.

@mrs. tictactoe: I have this too, my fear is more in anxiety......like if I don't feel her move for some time I freak... I've gone in twice already for reassurance MW are super sweet!

But I completley understand your fear, I wish I could see her on u/s daily!

But I try hard to remind myself all is well and God knows my baby better than I and he is watching over us!

I laugh when I think of how much a love her already and worry, lord knows I will be a basket case when she is here!

That is so scary. Step away from Google. Nothing you read on there will change what will happen to you. (My mantra!) Rest rest rest!

@mrs. tictactoe: oh honey I just want to give you a big hug. Have you tried meditation, yoga or prayer if you are religious? I am not religious but my stress has been through the roof lately and meditating for 5 minutes every morning helps. There are guided meditations too. Ive heard Circle + Bloom has some good ones that are specifically related to pregnancy. Sending you and healthy baby thoughts.
