I didn't even try, but I'm so excited for you!! Any gut feeling?

@knittylady: thank you! Tech guessed girl but I have no feelings other than that!

The nub theory was wrong for my parents. Apparently I had a swollen crotch, and they were unsure if I was a boy or girl until I was born. They were, however, leaning towards boy. O.o

Bumping this, because I was getting on to ask the same question.

Yes! (and a 16 week ultrasound was wrong, ha!)

@LBee: what did you think ? And how was the 16 week us wrong ?
@mamainthesun: I'm not sure what you mean by what did I think. I don't really have any explanation about how it was wrong other than they thought he didn't have a penis, but he did. Potentially my bladder was too full, but who knows. It was probably just an angle issue. It was an early elective scan -- there was no missing it at my anatomy scan. It happened to @lilyann as well (girl >> boy).

Yup! Our tech at 12 weeks looked and could see the nub VERY clearly. It was definitely parallel to the baby's spine so she was pretty sure it was a girl. I agreed based on what she explained to me. We got a very clear view of girl parts last week at our anatomy scan!
@LBee: I meant did you think a girl because of the theory and then they said boy or vice versa ! Sorry for not being clear !

@LBee: Yes, girl! I'll never forget throwing a gender reveal party only to take it back a month later
@lilyann: Word. Did I mention we found out he was a boy on APRIL FOOL'S DAY? We should have waited to tell everyone until the next day because no one would believe us.
@mamainthesun: Boy (12 weeks), Girl (16 weeks), Boy (20 weeks)
@LBee: Bahaha! Oh geez! I got a lane violation ticket on our way to our appointment (we were also running late) and I jokingly said, watch it be a boy...lol so ironic!
