I’m 6w2d according to my dr (I thought 6w4d) and just had an ultrasound today due to some bleeding last night. Anyway, I was wondering when/how will I can test out this theory? I read as soon as 6w, but wasn’t sure how true that was.

I am certainly not an expert but I am pretty sure that theory doesn't work until week 12 or 13? You have to be able to see some sort of "nub" and you just can't see it this early yet.

@LabradorLover: no Ramzi is different, it's based on where the placenta will form. Ramzi has to be done before 8 weeks.
I am not an expert but have only seen this be right less than half the time. Your best bet if you're impatient is to do sneak peak at 9 weeks
Good luck!
