I have SUCH a strong feeling I'm having a girl. The last three friends I've guessed I've been right about.
We go for our anatomy scan on November 7th but I'm so anxious... so just for fun... If you had a strong feeling about the sex, did you end up being right or wrong?

I was convinced #1 was girl - wrong
I was convinced #2 was a boy - wrong -
I didn't have a strong feeling either way. However, everyone else (and I mean everyone else...we were team green with twins) seemed to think I was having two boys. Because of this I figured I'd have two boys or one of each. We ended up having two sweet girls. I was pretty surprised to be honest.

I'm actually 6 for 6 with friends of mine lately. I wish that was a marketable skill.

I don't know if I really had an instinct. I guess I kinda thought I was having a girl (which I did), but I think that was more me hoping for/wanting a girl. There were also days I convinced myself it was a boy so that I wouldn't be too disappointed if it was. I never had an "OMG it's definitely a girl!" moment.

I had a strong feeling for boy, but it was because at the NT scan they guessed boy. Probably not the same thing.
Everyone guessed girl for me and they were wrong!

I didn't have a strong feeling either way for the first.
For the second, I was convinced it was a boy because my symptoms were exactly the same as the first time, and I was right!

interesting. i am so convinced i'm right because i always just wanted boys! but when i got pregnant i could ONLY picture a girl baby. and eeeeeeeeeeeeveryone has guessed girl for me. the ramzi's theory says girl, old wives tales say girl... so if we're having a boy i'll be shocked! but equally excited. i always thought mothers instincts were right but i guess that's not always the case. i'll be so embarrassed if it's a boy cuz i've been telling everyone i'm CONVINCED it's a girl haha.

Yes. I always saw us with a daughter and it was like we knew as soon as we picked a name. She was meant for us.

Wrong both times but DH is always right. I can't think of one time he guessed for anyone and was wrong!

Yes! I felt like she was a girl and I always thought of her as a girl...but I was trying not to get my hopes up in case I was wrong. I totally cried tears of happiness when we found out she was a girl!

I had a strong feeling in the beginning that LO was a boy. Even posted in a thread about instincts and called him a he at our NT scan. But I was Team Green so second guessed myself quite a bit. I was right!

I thought I was having a boy the first time, and I had a boy! This time I have no idea.

I had strong feeling for boy, and it was. But at the time I really wanted a girl, so I sort of think my head was just like "you want a girl too much, so let's go ahead and settle into the boy camp"

With #1 as soon as I got my bfp I said, it's a girl and I never wavered from that. I knew it was a girl and it was.
With #2 I said it was a boy, though I wasn't as convinced I was with #1. I stuck with it and continued to think it was a boy. Apparently it's a girl though. I think part of me was saying it was a boy because I knew how much my husband wanted a boy, so I was being optimistic for him. -
With #1, I initially thought girl because everyone on both sides of the family had girls 1st. But as time went on, I felt the baby was a boy and I was right.
With the 2nd, I would have bet money it was a girl mainly because my pregnancies felt so different. But I was wrong! Two boys!
So I don't think mothers intuition is always right!

I wouldn't say I had a strong intuition in that I was convinced she was a girl, but sometimes people would refer to the baby as he or him and it's hard to explain but it just didn't feel quite right. So maybe I had intuition-lite

@lawbee11: ha same. I didn't really have a strong feeling but EVERYONE told me I was having a girl so I convinced myself I was having a boy, and a boy we had.

For my son I knew it was a boy.
For my second son I knew it was a girl but I was wrong

I totally thought I was having a girl. We even had a name picked out for a girl! We had our scan videotaped and when they told us it was a boy, you can hear me start laughing, and the first thing I say is, "What on earth are we going to name a boy?!" haha

I was convinced I was having a boy. I have get for years that we would have two boys and while I guess deep down I did want to have a daughter at some point, I was happy about the boy I was sure I was having.
I think the first thing I said after she was born and Dh told me it was a girl (team green) was "really?!"
Mothers instinct not correct for me!

I had a feeling that I was having a boy with LO. I was right. This time around, I have no idea. I have to do the Materniti21 test soon, so we'll find out in a few weeks.

I thought for sure I was carrying a little boy, told my DH and my mom and my mom agreed. DH was disappointed as he wanted a little girl and held out hope. Well at our early ultrasound we found out I was wrong and he was right! Which is so weird because I'm usually right about guessing EVERYONE else's babies and have even gotten some birthdays right!

Im 2 for 2. I was Team Green for my son and we found out with my daughter around 20 weeks but I was right for both.
