I'm 31 weeks with my second and we did not find out what we are having. We already have a wonderful son and I do want a girl this time so... I'm a little worried. I guess I figure since I'm finding out in the delivery room I won't be too disappointed because I'll just be glad to have the kid out. Lol I'll let you know when LO arrives.

I was the same way. I was convinced we were having a boy, and I was hoping so. We're having another girl, though! Honestly, I had about half a second of disappointment and then I got super excited. I don't think I was this excited about having a girl the first go round!

Yes, I had preference for a boy for both pregnancies and I have two girls that I adore! Good luck! Will you update HB? I can't wait to hear your news.

I had a boy first and REALLY wanted a girl the second time. I was so anxious about being disappointed that I couldn't even let myself think of names or buy any baby things until we found out at 20 weeks. Luckily it was a girl, and I do remember being SO excited and also relieved not to be disappointed.

I was SO convinced that DD was a boy that DH and I never even considered having a girl. We had a name, nursery plans... We were both in complete shock with the u/s tech said it was a girl. Honestly, it took us a couple of days to get used to the idea of having a girl. But now I can't imagine it any other way.

We are TTC #2 now and I am really conflicted about sex. I don't really care, but I know DH would really like a boy.

My husband really wanted a girl, and because of his preference I had started picturing a girl. Then we found out that we were having a boy. My reaction was sort of, "Huh. Not sure how to process that."

I am glad we found out in advance so that we had time to process it before delivery. I would not have wanted to add that to everything else going on when he was born! (Obviously, this is something that people used to deal with all the time!)

Now he is three months old and smiley and adorable and of course we love our boy!

With my first I wanted a girl. We found out we were having a boy, and I was 'disappointed' for like 10 seconds before I looked at DH and saw how excited he was to be having a son. I love my little guy, and couldn't imagine life without him

With my second, I really really really wanted a girl. I had a feeling it was a girl, and I was so afraid I was going to be really upset if we had another boy, that I convinced myself we were having another boy. I 'prepared' myself for being a boy mom. When the tech told us girl, I cried.

my husband was a little disappointed we had a girl but I was ecstatic (i thought she was a girl). It took him a little while to get over it since we're one and done but he couldn't be happier with a little girl.
