My parents had us sleep with them until we were each 3 years old.
I told my mom and dad I had let my LO cry for 1-3 minutes this week to get her to fall asleep on her own and my DAD gave me an earful. Hahaha

We slept with our parents until we were toddlers.
I asked my mom about it and she said that was a different time, place, and they had limited space in Korea!

I think my parents tried but I wouldn't sleep. They said they left me crying for hours, nice one!

my mom coslept with us until I was 3. then i remember sleeping in the same room as my brother from then on. my brother would always fall off the bed onto the hardwood floor!

They didn't sleep train us but I slept in my own crib in my own room - never coslept. From age 4-7 I shared a room with my brother, though.
When I sleep-trained LO, my mom was very on-board.

My mom was the perfect parent with perfect children that slept through the night as soon as they were born...so she says! Hahaha, my Dad said I slept with them for the 1st year!

All of us slept with my parents until we were 2 or 3; in fact, I clearly remember when my parents moved me and my little sister out of their bed and into our own room!

Nope, I slept with them til I was two and bumped into my own room by my little sister being born.LOL

@autumnlove: Ha! I feel the same way about the stories that my mom tells. Apparently both my sister and I slept beautifully, and we transitioned from the bassinet to the crib in our own rooms with no problems whatsoever. My mom did mention that I got somewhat addicted to being rocked to sleep, and she had to wean me from that at some point. Of course, I've already been suckered into rocking my 3-month old to sleep every night, so I'm sure I'll be in the same boat soon enough...
