Mine were asleep by 7 and the fireworks started at 9:15. We live really close to where they set them off so our house shakes. Glad they both slept through!

They haven't started yet! It's 9:30 here. He's asleep but I might wake him up to watch them because they're right outside our apartment. Undecided!

No LO went to bed at 7:30 but has already woke up once because they are so loud! Our entire neighborhood is popping them!

She was awake, but we were at a friends' house and we could barely see the fireworks. She did great though - I shifted all of her naps a bit later and she was never fussy. She fell asleep as soon as we got home (9:45 - waaay past her bedtime) and she's been sleeping through the neighbors' shenanigans!

She went to sleep at 7 but woke up about thirty minutes ago from the noise. She's currently back to sleep on top of me until they stop and I'll put her back down and go to bed myself.

We were at a party outside where the city fireworks (so, LOUD) were going off right over our heads and LO fell asleep on me in the middle of the show. She's so hardcore! Bawahaha

Yes? We were driving home from my IL's and accidentally ended up driving like right of the ballpark they were being set off from....front and center view! E was awake, and may have seen some when we turned, but little dude didn't care.

Awake. We pushed his nap so he could stay up. We are doing our own fireworks now and then we will try for bed. It is 9:45 pm right now.

He was asleep but we live close to where the fireworks are. The dogs barked and now he is up wide awake...

We were at a friend's house and there are fireworks nearby over a lake. We decided to just go home because the fireworks won't start til 9:45 and our kids didnt nap today.

We were gonna try to keep her up but she was pretty fussy and tired all day. She fell aleep around 8:00 and the fireworks started around 9:00 just a block away from our house. They were pretty loud but she didn't even move!

he was awake for them, but his nap was super late. he wasn't interested in them anyways. he just wanted to play

we put LO to bed around 6pm. when the fireworks started around 9.15, they were loud, but luckily he was in deep sleep by that point.

Nope. Sound asleep by 6:30pm. She woke up at 9 but I think it was teething pain, not the fireworks that woke her up.

Nope. He only made it to 8:45, then passed out. We had a bad rainstorm, so they didn't start until it stopped, around 9:30.

she was asleep by 7:45, but we woke her at 9:30 when they started so we could all go outside and see them. they go off right by a lake by our house so we didnt have to go far- she was pretty excited, although confused, that we woke her, but the look on her face seeing them was priceless! she went right back to bed after thank goodness

Nope! She slept at 7:30. Fireworks started at 9:30. DH and I sat outside on our balcony to watch it. It was nice!

Hellz no. Fireworks don't start here till closer to 10pm. By the time we fight traffic to get home and she has to be up by 7 am the latest ? That's not enough sleep for her.

Luckily, my little city doesn't allow them so we didn't have any close by. Also, luckily, none of our neighbors set off any anyways! We have some younger neighbors so I was a bit worried!

E took a late nap and ended up awake for the fireworks. He fell asleep during them though!

we left right before they started ( I knew he wouldn't handle th fireworks well, he hates, hates, hates loud noises) and he fell asleep on the way home.

@Andrea: We had exactly the same experience. DD asleep at 7:30, fireworks started at 9:45. DD slept right through, even though the fireworks are really close to our house. We could sort of see them through the trees from our living room window.

@skibobrown: weird! We can see them through the trees from our living room, too!

The fireworks here in Portland started late (10:30!!!!) due to some idiot jumping off a nearby bridge. My daughter managed to stay up for them, I was totally impressed.
