My LO has his 12 month appointment tomorrow and is scheduled to get the MMR and chicken pox vaccines. I mentioned this to a friend, who said her son's pediatrician doesn't do MMR until 15 months. That made me wonder, so I asked around and found other friends whose pediatricians also wait until 15 months, as well as a few 18 months. I'm planning to ask the doctor tomorrow why the different ages, but also curious what others have seen.

Side note: This is not meant to be an MMR or vaccine debate at all. My son has gotten - and will continue to get - all vaccines as recommended by his pediatrician. Just curious why the range of ages.
