I want to get more books for my 7.5 month old. She currently has 2 cloth books. Should I get more cloth or should I get board books at this stage?

My 7mo loves both. At this point she mainly chews on them, but she's pretty equal opportunity about it

I would say both are fine, but if you want to get more use I'd go with board books

@Mrsbells: They're starting to look a little worn, but I only let her play with the cheaper, small board books anyway. We can easily and cheaply replace those as needed.

We just get some of the cheaper board books. She had no interest in cloth books after about 10-12 months.

We bought mostly board books for DD after she hit age 1, but actually there was one elmo cloth book that she still wanted read to her at age 3. It had a story and little sewed on pieces that you manipulate as the story is told.

DD still reads cloth books at 2.5. I'd say either are fine; you should buy the ones you like best, regardless of material!
