For those of you who do celebrate vals day, what gift will you be giving your SO?

I am giving my DH a big cookie delivered to his work. He has been so stressed lately, I want to do something nice for him!

We normally don't do gifts, but DH really wanted a new ski jacket...yesterday we looked and the size/color he wanted was out. I just located one in a store in another state, so am having it shipped. I told him not to get me anything though (except a card!)

We usually just go out to dinner--we don't exchange gifts on V-day

We're on a tight budget. So I actually used a pinterest find, for once! (I usually pin things, knowing in the back of my mind that I'll probably never use it, haha).
I took 3 photos of LO, in one she's holding the letter I, in the other she's holding a heart and in the last she's holding the letter U. And I put the photos in a 3 photo frame. I know he'll love it. I also made a dry erase frame using pretty paper and put in pretty caligraphy "I love you because....." and I got a dry erase marker to write a new reason everyday (or try to write a new reason!).

I'm actually stumped because he just gave me a beautiful sapphire ring and I'm pretty sure he ordered me flowers and I've got NOTHING so far!

I got him a bubble wrap calendar. You get to pop a bubble for each day. Not very romantic, but he'll love it.

We agreed to just do cards this year since we're spending tons getting ready for the babies. But I got him some See's chocolate as a little extra. I wish I could come up with something better, but I'm always stumped for boys on valentines day.

Well, on my lunch break I ran out to the store and got me a little something something to wear tomorrow evening to bed that I'm sure he will appreciate lol

I gave DH a custom mug from shutterfly
PIcs of our little fam, me and the baby.

I got him a new North Face pullover, a pair of Husker sweatpants, and a book on Mickey Mantle.

i got him a giants sweatshirt (gave it to him for the superbowl) and a card. we went to a nice dinner this weekend.

I'm pretty surprised that there are so many couples who don't celebrate V-day! This is the first year we're not going somewhere romantic on the actual day... it was too hard to find a sitter. We used to do gifts... one year I went all out and got him an ipod nano (the year the red U2 one came out), a klipsch speaker to dock it in, and a trip to the record store to pick out a few albums. He usually gets flowers delivered to me and a gift. This year I didn't get him anything, but we just came back from a spa weekend away that was our birthday and v-day gift to each other!

We do cards for vday. It's a lovely keepsake and he writes the loveliest things in the card.

I got him a tripod and a wireless remote for our camera. I'm also surprising him with a cookie bouquet delivered to his work tomorrow.

I surprised DH with a new wedding band. He lost his original one on Christmas Eve and we still haven't found it. He totally wasn't expecting to get a new one for awhile, so I re-ordered it for him. I caved though and couldn't wait until tomorrow-- I gave it to him last Friday!

I'm getting him a couple of dvds and some candy.

I got him Dinosaur Legos, and I'm making him a fancy dinner. Also got him Batman Begins, but mostly to fill up my Amazon order for free shipping. Knowing him, chocolate and roses... though I know he actually shopped for me on Sunday. I am very baffled.
