Dh is not very close with MIl and we struggle each year what to get her a gift for Christmas. We usually give her and her husband a joint gift. Last year it was a grilling cookbook and some really awesome sqewers from William Sonoma. I told DH he was in charge this year and he said he was going to get her a cheese tray (yes, I am serious). He is taking his time asking SIL for ideas and I figure I better come up with a suggestion or it will get done last minute.
