Just got back from my weekly appointment, and the OB measured my belly and I'm 36 weeks 3 days but measuring 39 weeks. She said that's normal and may or may not mean I will deliver early or have a big baby. She just brushed it off, but wanted to see if anyone else measured similarly? Did you deliver early?

My Dr. never told me measurements or gave me estimated weight because he said they are mostly inaccurate. I was bummed!

I'm measuring way ahead, which I guess is expected with two. At my appt right before 20 weeks, I was measuring 26 or 28 weeks, I can't remember which one. I think I blocked it out.
It explains why I'm getting so uncomfortable so early.

I was never measured in weeks but the growth ultrasounds put me in the 65th percentile. Baby's still in there at 38 weeks.

At my last appointment, I was 24 weeks and measuring 24 weeks, so right on schedule so far!

At my last appointment I was 33w and measured at 36/37w. According to the ultrasound done that day, baby girl is around 90th percentile for birth weight. DH and I were both 9lbs+ and it looks like that's what I'm in for with her too.

At 24 weeks I was measuring 30 weeks. The doc ordered an ultrasound and the baby was only measuring a week ahead and in the 60th percentile for weight. I have a lot of fluid, but am within the normal range. I'm now 33 weeks and was measuring right on the mark last week.

Wow Ok so it seems like you all are pretty much in the same boat I am in. I wish I could get another ultrasound but they don't do any others after the 20 week scan.
@oliviaoblivia: 9lbs, wow! I think I was almost 9 too but not sure what DH was. Big babies!
@kffw: good to hear you are on track! I'd be freaked out if at 24 weeks they told me I was measuring 30. Giant baby! -
I was 32 at 32 w. But my ultrasound at 28 weeks said I could be heading for a 9lber!

i always measured a week ahead, which was fine (1 wk in either direction is considered normal). he was 8 days late & 7lbs9oz.

@oahujeni: Our doula says the average of mom and dad birth weight is a good ballpark. We aren't big people though, so it's kind of scary. I'm 5'-7" and DH is 5'-10".

I was measuring 29w at my 29w appointment. I have GD so if I start measuring ahead they'll have to do a late sonogram to check on baby's size to see if they need to schedule an induction (oh please god no) or a c-section.
It explains why I'm getting so uncomfortable so early.
