I'm starting to get in the mindset of going back to work (3 more months) and my wardrobe needs a serious update post pregnancy. What are your go-to work shoes. I've been in flats for way to long because of ingrown toenail issues but they are all resolved and I want to get back in some heels.

I wish i had some! My feet got wider from pregnancy and still haven't gone back and I am 4 months pp...ugh! I have been wearing wide moccasins from Payless almost everyday because they're the only shoes my feet fit into!

I wore a pair of black leather pumps (almond toe, 4 inch stilleto heels) that I purchased in Italy. They're so comfortable, but I need another pair (probably nude pumps).

Black wedges or flats for winter. Peep toe wedges or sandals in warmer months.

You definitely should invest in some high quality heels.. Nordstrom is great. I like Franco Sarto for classic heels for work, or sometimes Nine West or Enzo Angiolini. I think a classic black pointed toe heel is a great place to start- no offense to PP, but a cork wedge isn't appropriate for the mid-winter:spring months, even if you live in Miami.

We can't wear heels in my line of work thank goodness! I stick with a good pair odd Dansko clogs and am a happy camper!

@prettylizy: I just keep them at my desk and switch into them when I get to work. I wear boots to and from the building (and driving) during the winter and flip-flops the rest of the year.

@prettylizy: Is there a Nordstrom Rack anywhere near you? Often you can find awesome, high-end shoes for much, much less than anywhere else. I miss living near one!!

@prettylizy: Yup, pjs over here, too. Obviously, spending my morning on HB, with no plans to leave the house except perhaps to take a walk with the puppy a little later. He's napping right now, so no pressure to go anywhere!
