Leather for cleaning
Keyless entry
Heated steering wheel and seats
Parking assist (our car creates an aerial view based on all the cameras around the car and it’s awesome for any kind of parking. You can see if you’re in the lines, how close to the curb, etc)
And I’m not sure this counts but our next car has to have a third row. Now that we have 2 kids we have run into a couple issues with not having room for even one extra adult in our car. We have a year left on our lease and we’re alreasy itching for it.

I’d say my only must haves are a back up camera and TWO power seats.
Things I strongly prefer
Leather
Remote start (I don’t have it, but want it!)
Car can keep running a/c and lock even if you walk away with the key.

@looch: oooooo dream world. My sister wants one so bad. I drive a 2012 Honda Civic my husband swears went through Hurricane Irene up here in NY before I bought it bc it has always smelled weird. #fancy #gocart

We bought my first car as adult earlier this year. It was a 2012 model, but it has a lot of nice options, nicer than the brand new rental we just had on vacation. The most important thing for me was to have a huge trunk. I’ve also come to appreciate leather seats and all the collusion detectors, since we live in a city with a ton of motorcycles.

@MenagerieMama: Yep. Our household has a 2002 Subaru Impreza and a 2012 (base model) Honda Fit. The Subaru proabably has limited time left...so it is kinda exciting to think about the fancy things that might be possible in a new (or newer) car.
