For me it's answering emails. I can never catch up and i always feel so bad! I'm trying to get to inbox 0 and I work on it every day, but unfortunately I'm currently at inbox 835.
What about you?

Misquoting a policy or having to tell someone their premium has gone up.... worst part ever.

I teach pre-k. I LOVE my kids. Most of my parents are actually very supportive. What I dislike is the administration. It's hard to get into all of it, but after this week... I'm so over it.

All the paperwork. And the endless meetings I have to sit in on. I'd much rather be working with my kiddos. I'm a school based speech therapist.

I'm in laboratory quality assurance and I really don't like doing computer system troubleshooting and programming. Technical writing? Audits? Method development? Love that part.

I'm a teacher- I really dislike the obsession with testing and I loathe writing lesson plans. On the flip side I really like getting notes that say "you teach me lots of new thangs and now I have lots of nolige."

Same part that is my favorite part (depends what day you ask)... working with my mom! lol

I hate tracking down documents from other realtors. I know they know every contract comes with certain documents, but it's rare that I get them all together.

My own lack of motivation/procrastination/laziness. Seriously. I really love my job, so the only thing keeping me from going from very good at my job to amazing is....myself. blah.

The fact that I don't get paid as much as I should...Not just saying that because I feel like I "deserve" more, but really....I AM totally underpaid. Its sad!

I see patients all day to do special medical testing and I hate having to be "on" when I really don't feel "on" I just finished my first tri and smiling and being chipper all day when all I could do was stare at the garbage can and think how much I really wanted to toss my cookies totally stunk!

Pretty much all of it. I want a new job/career, only no clue what I want to do.

Having to present stuff to executive management. The anxiety it causes me has made me hate the job overall.

@mrs. 64: Awwww! So cute!
Umm, I tell pregnant women they've been diagnosed with HIV/AIDS for a living. So there's that. I don't think I need to expand upon what I don't like about that.

@mrs. 64: Such a cute note.
I really dislike follow up. Trying to get answers out of other companies and trying to get those SAME answers a couple years later because no one will respond to my inquiries. How do they still have jobs? lol.
Also, I hate the work drama. I try to stay out of it but co-workers love to come to me to vent/get advice/gossip.

@grizz: oh my. That must suck. We just found out someone my husband used to work with has been charged with aggravated sexual assault because he's been spreading his aids (a lot!) without letting ladies know first.

@mrs. 64: That's just adorable!
@sunny: Same here. I hate the politics in my company. I know they're everywhere, but I feel like I'm so stuck sometimes and there's nothing I can do about it!

Lack of adequate pay. I work in education; we all know what that means.
Other than that, I love my job.

hmm probably cold calling. I'm in sales, so prospecting including cold calls is a part of my job that I don't like, but have to do.

I am a freelance motion graphics designer meaning I take on my clients (usually TV networks) directly creating motion graphics for TV spots (promos, show packaging...etc).
Several things I hate:
1. Downtime - There could be huge voids in my schedule when none of my regular clients has work to send out. It creates serious anxiety as I don't know if things will come back up;
2. When work picks up, it picks up. Meaning I could be working around the clock. Recently I can't do that anymore because of LO, so I have to turn a lot of things down
3. Short deadline: Clients always call today and want to see something by tomorrow, and have the project wrapped by Friday so it can get on-air over the weekend..etc.
4. I hate that feeling of nervous breakdown when I couldn't come up with anything (design-wise) and the clock is ticking.
5. Networking / business development.

1. Repetitiveness/Boring work
2. Not enough to keep me busy
3. Office Politics
Not all that thrilled with my position lately, and I guess I've grown too comfortabe, but I'm currently taking the steps to change my situtation, and have one prospect I'm super excited about.

that i can't anticipate if i'm going to be there later at the end of the day since it's totally dependent on someone else's arrival
bodily fluids- i could do without making contact with them, but they barely faze me at this point
taking personal time can get tricky since i always feel the need to justify it (i know it's hard to find coverage when i take time off) & only do it if i know it won't screw things up for anyone else
other than that, i love my job! i get paid to fall in love with awesome little people, doesn't get much better than that =)

@winniebee: lol I was going to guess accountant... I hate that part of my job too

I'm an auditor so when process owners here I'm coming/auditing them next, they automatically shut me out/become unresponsive which makes doing my job difficult. I'm also underpaid for the certifications I hold and the type of audits I do.
pomegranate / 3329 posts
@prettylizy: Yes this is exactly what I was going to say! I will also add deciphering a billing with multiple changes, and ISO protection class changes. Basically right now all the changes the company has made have us all turned upside right now!

Layout of our office... I am moving to a different room on the floor in a couple months and it has no windows which I'm actually really upset about! And during break there isn't really a nice place to go- the break room is just meh.
Other than that I love my job!
