I'm so baby obsessed and dying to purchase some things and start my CD stash... What did you buy before getting pregnant or did you not buy anything until u had that BFP? Is it like counting your chickens before they hatch?

Nothing until I got a BFP, and then still nothing until I saw the heartbeat at 8 weeks.

I bought the Juicy Couture "Couture Baby" diaper bag that I had wanted for forever:) I got it at the outlet for the day after Thanksgiving sale last year. So that was in November, and we didn't get pregnant with a healthy baby until March, so it sat in the back of my closet for ages and I kind of forgot about it. But now I'm really glad I went ahead and got it because it was like 60% off retail!

@JHoller25: I was trying to hold off until 12 weeks (to make the first purchase), but when I found the Rebecca Minkoff "Knocked Up" bag in Python right around 8-9 weeks (for a steal), I just couldn't resist. And I love bags, so it totally made sense that my first purchase would be a diaper bag.

Nothing! I was afraid that I would jix myself. Now that I am 6 weeks I still won't until. Going to wait till the 2nd tri before I buy anything.

I didn't buy anything before our BFP, but I did put our name on a waiting list for day care (it's crazy where we live.)

I didnt buy anything until after my 2nd anatomy scan at 22 weeks

I didn't start shopping until after the 24 week mark.

Nothing...I bought a crib and bedding a little after 20 weeks and that was really still about the only thing we bought. Everything else has been gifted to us.

Nothing. I was too paranoid. As soon as we got our BFP tho, I started stacking up on Cloth Diapers. Other than maternity clothes, our baby purchases didn't start until week 19/20.

We bought a used BOB from a cousin before we started trying. She needed to sell it so she could upgrade to a double BOB and she gave us a great deal so we didn't want to miss out. Other than that I didn't buy anything until 19 weeks when my MIl bought us the nursery furniture. I didn't want to jinx anything. And really it stressed me out to do it at 19 weeks but she was in town for just a weekend so we didn't have a choice.

I bought a onesie for DH as a "hey, we're having a baby!" gift. Other than that, though, nothing. I'm 15 weeks now and I've gotten a lovie and a knit Phillies hat. We've looked at furniture and stuff, but haven't actually purchased anything. Probably will wait until after the anatomy scan, so we know what we're shopping for.
