My picky little girl won't wear boots! She will wear her rain boots (but only if it's raining, of course) yet she won't keep any other boots on - she says they're too tight.
She wears mostly Livie and Luca shoes I have found at consignment sales. I love their shoes but don't love their prices! I've been able to find their Pios and a few other adorable types for $10 at my local consignment shop.

He wears a pair of Geox at daycare.
He is currently wearing a pair of rip off crocks that were $6.00 at walmart because he refuses to wear any other shoes...
He had a pair of TOMS that he LOVED, so when he out grew them I bought another pair. They are slightly too big and he hates them.

Nikes sneakers, Hunter Boots, Sorel snow boots and Target "fashion" boots. I very rarely buy dressy shoes just for special occasions. She lives in sneakers the most.

Currently rotates between gap sneakers and hunter rain boots but they are getting right. He has north face winter boots for snow season. I'm thinking I need something in between snow boots and sneakers but not sure what.

We have had the best luck with stride rite and see kai run. She has wide feet and is hard on her shoes. She also loved crocs this past summer.

Her cute fall boots are from Walmart. Runners, Bogs and winter boots are all from the consignment shop. I like Stride Rite and See Kai Run when I can find them secondhand.

For DS, for the last 2 years I have bought Adidas sneakers, Aigle rain boots, Sorel winter boots, and Keens in the summer, but I might switch to Natives for next summer. I can't handle the Keen stink.
For DD, so far just Aigle rain boots. I haven't been loyal to any other brand yet.

DS will wear anything. Most of his shoes are Stride Rite because he has wide feet, but he loves his Natives.
DD is picky about shoes. Her favorite pair is her Natives. I wish I could let her wear them all year, but it gets so cold here. Right now since it's getting cool we are having moderate luck with a pair of SKR Mary Janes and a pair of Saucony sneakers. She will tolerate her L&L petals sometimes, depends on her mood. Right now we have an ongoing issue where she removes her socks and shoes by herself. She's been barefoot at Target, Kohls, and two story times this week...

Stride rite, keds, and random target sandals. She doesn't really seem to care what shoes she is wearing, she wants any/all of them off.
@twodoghouse: Do you let them walk around target? Cause if not I'd say no harm no foul 
I still don't even put shoes on Fia unless we are going somewhere I plan to let her walk (which is basically just if we are going to a park or something). I can't keep shoes/socks on her in the car (she just takes them off) and I don't see the point in wrestling her into shoes for an errand if her feet are never touching the ground!

@Mae: No, she was in the cart at Target and stroller in Kohls. It's mostly just the throwing things that I don't like. If she just took off her socks and held onto them, that'd be fine I guess. But it's hard to pick things up off the floor when Blake's on my back! I don't really care about being shoeless at story time, other than the dirty looks from the moms whose kids aren't running around like a shoeless hooligan. At least she kept her pants on?

@twodoghouse: lol small victory. Fiona's shoes/socks never last through the car so she just throws them on the side of her seat which is NBD. At least she doesn't take off her shoes at the park! But then she's too busy running around to care about her shoes.

I like Stride Rite SRT best. I do SKR but I think SR has better quality. Also like Pediped. Recently got some Keen boots for her that seem great! They are knee high, waterproof, insulated.
Her shoes are the one place I always go quality because she walks about 2 miles a day, at least!

DS pretty much only wears Stride Rite. He has weak ankles and wide feet. They give him the best support and he can wear the heck out of them.

She loves the Umi sneakers we have gotten on sale at a local baby store, so those are her go to. She is also obsessed with these sparkly my first Stuart weitzman" Mary Jane shoes she got as a gift and insists on wearing them at totally inappropriate times. She has also had several pairs of stride rite that I have always been happy with.
I stick with just a couple pairs of good supportive shoes, instead of buying her a bunch per size. (The sparkly ballet flats don't exactly fit with this policy but they were a gift)

Stride rite mainly - my boys have wide feet. They come in XW which is perfect for their chubby wide feet. My older son also loves his crocs.
