I like a nice, basic Betty Crocker or Duncan Heinz yellow cake with chocolate frosting.

I've made my own cake the last few years. But if I were putting in a request, it would be chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting. Yummmm!

Two layer, home made yellow cake with buttercream icing. I usually make it myself lol.

I would request pie! But a really good homemade pie with flaky crispy crust. None of that supermarket pie garbage!

My sister is a pastry chef - this year I requested apple pie/crumble/turnover so we'll see what it turns out to be. Last year I asked for a spice cake with cream cheese icing - it was delish!

Usually something chocolate, although last year I had pink lemonade cupcakes that were pretty darn good.

I wish it were acceptable to request a Dairy Queen cake consisting of nothing but the hot fudge and the crunchy cookie bits...mmm.

I really like Key Lime Pie. But... my FIL has his birthday the day after, so I usually make a dessert for him that he gets to choose and he and MIL always share about half with us. Then I'm wiped enough that I'll make my pie for no real reason some other time.

Dairy and soy free cake of any flavor--with icing. My hubs tracked down exactly that last week when it was my Bday.
