I actually don't have a camera, as Mrs. Bee is our family photographer. I use my iPhone though, to capture little moments here and there.
What camera do you use, and how much did it cost?

iPhone only... we broke our Samsung NV3 last year and haven't replaced it. I want a Canon Rebel 3ti but clearly don't have the funds for that for now.

Canon T1i. It was used and I got it for under $600 with the kit lens. I have since upgraded to a 50mm 1.4 and a zoom lens. I probably spent $1000 on everything separately. I did get the store to buy back my kit lens, though. That helped with the cost of the zoom lens. The 50 is my faaaavorite by far.

My husband uses a Nikon D5000 and I think he paid about $7-800 for it + $2-300 for a flash. I also use it sometimes but the majority of the time, I use my point and shoot Canon or my phone.

I have a Canon G10. I paid $400 for it I think. I love it. It's small enough to carry with us everywhere, but has a lot of features that most point and shoot cameras don't.
Now I have my eye set on the Nikon 1. Though it is hard to see what the advantages of it are, since the lenses make it bulkier, yet it isn't a full DSLR but costs as much as one.

I think our camera is the same as Bee's. I refered to a post of hers when looking around. I also preferred how it felt in my hands compared to Nikon. I don't remember what it cost, but we got it at Costco.

We also have a Cannon Rebel 3ti. We bought it on sale for $800 with lens and case. We said we would get a nice camera before having baby #2 since all my photos of DS during his first year were taken from my iPhone.
I'd like to get some cool lenses but they're $150 and up.
