I don't have kids yet but I will answer for my family. My dad has black hair, my mom has light brown hair. 2 of my siblings have dark brown hair, 2 of us have light brown/blonde hair. The family cat has black hair.

I have brown, DH has brown but his beard is red, DS is a darker blonde, and DD is red, blonde, and brown.... She still has some baby hair and her new hair is a little bleached from the sun!

DD=medium brown (expect this to darken as I was blonde as a child)

DH and I both have dark brown hair but LO is going blonde/strawberry pretty quickly! I was blonde as a baby and my oldest brother is a redhead, so it's from my side.

Mine: Black (I feel like it's getting darker as I age!)

Me - black/dark brown - everyone thinks I color it but it's just naturally pretty light for an Asian

Husband - brown (was super light almost blonde as a baby)

LO - dark brown (looks black in photos but it's definitely dark brown)

We're all dark brown. I like it, you can tell we're a family

Mine is dark brown and I have brown eyes and my husband has very light brown (he was super blond as a kid) and bright blue eyes. I'm excited to see who our baby resembles! Popular wisdom says me, but I have a brother with light brown hair and hazel eyes and my husband has a lot of fairness in his family so I feel like it could go either way!

I'm a dark brown, DH is a lighter brown and LO isn't here yet...I"m hoping for dark brown like mine and both our green eyes

And DD is light brown (but her roots seem quite blonde). But she was born with black hair. That quickly changed.

LO: strawberry blond, to our surprise! Those ginger genes are strong ones!

Mine is dark brown, DH's is brown but has a red tint to it, and DS has light brown.

Me: Red
DH: medium brown
LO: Red.... but I'm hesitant to call him a redhead because DH had red/strawberry blonde hair until he was 4, when it got dark and lost the red tint-- he is not at all a redhead now. The red hair gene is pretty strong in my family (so there's a good chance his hair won't change), but I'm waiting until Baby X is 4 or 5 before I'm ready to officially call him a redhead. It's a special thing, to be called a redhead, y'know? I don't want to be premature in giving him the title.
