Is it a different color than it was at birth?

Well she was born with jet black hair, but now her new hair is growing in blonde. So she has black ends, blonde roots, and it is kind of brown in between, lol.
I was born with black hair and ended up being blonde. I think the same will go for her.

Baby X's hair was dark brown with some red underneath when he was born, but now at 9 months, it's definitely red. I'd claim it (I'm a redhead), but DH was a redhead until he was around 4 yrs old, when it became medium brown with absolutely no red tones anymore. So I'm crossing my fingers my red hair genes will stick, but I won't be totally surprised if not.
