LO adores her swing, but at 12 weeks, she's over 14 pounds and I don't see the swing lasting a lot longer, maybe another month, if we're lucky. I love how it entertains her when I can't be right with her.
What magic toy comes after the swing? She still can't sit up on her own, so she can't use her jump up yet, I don't think.

We started using the exersaucer when she was about 3-3.5 months old. She kind of braced herself either forward or backward since she couldn't sit up but she had good head control when we started it and she loved playing in it.

We used the jumparoo right before LO turned 4 mos. He had great head control and loved being able to bounce around. He also still liked his activity ma, so maybe you could try that, with some new toys? LO also sat in the Bumbo occasionally at that age, but wasn't really into it.

Exersaucer at 4 months. If your lo loves the swing keep her in it as long as possible! I think the weight limit on ours is 25lbs. My almost 2 yr old who's 29lbs still sits in it and loves it.

after the swing(which he didn't care all that much for) we started using the exersaucer and a bouncy chair.

@chopsuey119: It gets so slow when she's in it and just chews through batteries. I'll leave her in it as long as possible, just getting ready for the next stage since I'm going to a consignment sale this weekend.
Sounds like I need to look for an exersaucer this weekend!

bouncy chair. We don't have an exersaucer or jumperoo. After Easter, we're bringing back an activity table so he can stand up and play.

My LO reeeeeally got into his play-mat at about 12w.
We borrowed a jumperoo and we own a door jumper, but he was too small and uninterested. He is 5m now and just started getting into them maybe 3 weeks ago?
He still loves his playmat.
I like to have him play on his playmat, jumperoo, AND door jumper everyday to mix things up so it's not one thing all week.
Seems to work, tires him out and the naps great haha

I agree with @turtledoves....DS really got into his playmat/gym thing at that age. I put him in the exersaucer at 4 months but he wasnt interested in it until 6 months.

Activity mat still entertained DS from 3-4 months and at 4 months, we started him in his exersaucer!

He never liked the swing but we did use a bouncer chair. We put him in the exersaucer around 3 months, but he had great head and neck control.

Jumperoo! C was 16lbs at 4 months old and the swing still lasted until 6 months for us. We had a snuggabunny, which had a 25lb weight limit.
