@Chillybear: yes to shredding meat in the stand mixer. That thing can shred 2 chicken breasts in 30 seconds! It is amazing!

We don't have a toaster or a food processor. I would prefer a toaster over the toaster oven, and wouldn't mind having a food processor but don't want to spend the money.

Don't have a toaster oven, stand mixer (we have a hand mixer) rice cooker (we do 10 minute rice on the stove), or a food processor.
have a blender but never use it. And we don't keep the coffee maker on the counter when not in use.
Also don't have a waffle iron

No rice cooker or toaster.
We have everything else, 2 coffee makers. Plus a juicer and a griddle/waffle iron.

No toaster oven here. I have everything else. The coffee maker is not plugged in since DH had to cut out his coffee drinking, but we keep it around for guests.

The only one we don't have is a toaster oven, but are they that common? I don't know, or maybe don't notice, many people who have them.

@gentlelunette: Same here! French press only, I love that it takes up way less space than a standard coffee maker.

No rice cooker, no coffee maker, no toaster oven, no food processor.
I love my stand mixer and use it at least once a week, and DH uses our toaster nearly every day. The microwave is used multiple times a day, and we use a little bullet blender 3-4 times a week to make smoothies for LO.

@erinpye: ever since I got a toaster oven 10 years ago, I can't live without it!! It is a mini oven and heats up super duper fast. So easy! When I found out about them, I was like - where have you been all my life?
Oh and most of the families in the state where I live, has a rice cooker sitting on their counter.

@808love: my step mom had one when I was growing up (I never lived with her), and I always was so amazed by it, and jealous because we didn't have one. I should get one! Haha!

@erinpye: they are pretty cheap! I think our black and decker was about $50. I can do small pizzas, roasted vegetables, English muffins, etc. I'm frugal when it comes to space on my counter as I like it to be bare but it is worth the real estate!

We don't have a toaster but do have a toaster oven. No rice cooker or blender but our ninja pretty much works for anything.
I do have a stand mixer that gets used at least once a month. And a shredder attachment for it. We got an ice cream maker recently that we use weekly, a waffle maker that we use about once a week and a yogurt maker I use twice a month. Since we had a tiny kitchen for a while I tried to only own appliances that I use regularly. Now we have more space and more appliances but I stick to the same rule.

When our last microwave kicked the bucket, I was pregnant and went on some hormonal tangent about them being bad for our health. So, we never replaced it. I hardly miss it; we just reheat on the stovetop.
We don't have a toaster, but do have a toaster oven and I love that little guy. No rice cooker, no standing mixer (just a hand mixer). However, we do have a waffle maker and a panini press. Priorities.

No rice cooker. Making it on the stove in a pot isn't bad, but there are some really nice rice cookers now so I wouldn't mind one. Like everything else, it's more of a storage issue.

We don't have
Blender (but we have a small smoothie maker)
Food processor
Toaster oven
Rice cooker
Stand mixer
Our coffee maker is just a tassimo cup one.

We don't have a stand mixer or a rice cooker. We only have a coffee maker because both of our dads are big coffee drinker's and we wanted to have it for when they are visiting. Other than that it is never used. And we have recently packed the toaster oven in the back of the cabinet instead of out on our counter because we never use it. We need to just get rid of it.

We have all of the above, but the toaster, toaster oven, blender, food processor, rice cooker, and coffee maker live in the pantry. (And the keurig lives in the attic.) They rarely get pulled out. My stand mixer I couldn't live without. Recently upgrade to the 6qt and I love it!

No toaster, no microwave, no pressure cooker, no crockpot, no food processor. But we have a toaster oven, air popper for popcorn, stand mixer and bread maker. I think we have around the same number of appliances, just not the "regular" ones.
Eta we have a dual coffee/espresso machine, kitchen mvp.

Based off this poll, I'm missing a lot. Toaster, toaster oven, rice cooker and food processor. I couldn't live without a coffee pot
coconut / 8430 posts
All we are missing is a coffee maker.
I'd like to get an electric hot water dispenser but I don't want to give up more counter space.

we don't have a toaster (but I love my toaster oven for making "cheesy bread") or a rice cooker.
the only person I know who doesn't own a coffee maker is mormon and didn't eat caffeine - he has 4 kids, owns multiple businesses, and we met while we were getting our MBAs...I have no idea how he stayed awake through it all.

We don't have a toaster. We also have, but never ever use (they're packed away in the basement) coffee maker or stand mixer.
I'd die without our rice cooker or toaster oven, though!

No toaster or coffee maker. We have a toaster oven though, and use our French press to make coffee.

We have a VERY small kitchen and we don't have a microwave, but I honestly don't miss it after four years! However, when we move and have a bigger kitchen i'd like to have a wall/cabinet-mounted one.
We also don't have a toaster oven (never understood the appeal of those?), rice cooker (we're not big on rice), food processor (used to have and it broke - I do miss that one!), or a coffeemaker (I'm the only coffee drinker so I just use my Aeropress). We do have a coffeemaker in the garage that we bring out when we have guests.
I couldn't live without my toaster and stand mixer though!

The only things I have on that list is a microwave, toaster oven and rice cooker.
I think I can live without the rice cooker also. Can just cook rice on the stove top.
I love our toaster oven though ... We use it everyday, it is easier to warm up a few chicken nuggets with it instead of turn on the whole oven.
