What did you do differently the cycle you conceived? And did you think it helped you to conceived? :
- stopped exercising completely. I was doing 3 days of HIIT (high intensity interval training) a week since 2014, before we started TTCing)
- only reached for Pre-Seed 50% of the time. We decided to rely more on natural lubricant, foreplay, intimacy and cuddling.
I absolutely think these two things helped my body to perceive less "threat" and obstacles to conceiving. I do plan to pick up my HIIT work outs after birth, or even some easy work-outs second-third trimester with doctor's okay. I figured I was extremely hormonal sensitive and physical stress (including exercise) was getting in the way.
I'm at about 24% body fat (so it's not like I'm a ripped, fit, lady. But when I work out, my heart rate shoots up to 169bpm easily). I work out until I'm exhausted and sweating. And I think that was the problem.
