Two ball screw ball (which, btw, is such a dirty sounding name)! It was the cone shaped container that had sherbet in it and two gumballs at the bottom.

I actually got one last summer while on a walk with DH...still delicious but much smaller than I remember...

I loved the rocket ships - it was a fancy(ier) shaped popsicle that was colored red, white, and blue. There was also an ice cream cone that came with a flakey chocolate stick in it (I forget what it was called), and while the ice cream was good, the chocolate flake bar was really what the fuss was all about.

I didn't get to buy from the ice cream truck very often but I liked to buy firecracker popsicles & ice cream sandwiches mmm! I still like both of those

I rarely every bought icecream from the truck, but I liked the soft serve on a cone with a piece of flake chocolate in it.

We had polar cup, which is like Italian ice. I got whatever flavor was red, and candy cigarettes.

Used to? I buy from ice cream trucks in the present tense.
We weren't allowed to buy from the ice cream truck as kids. My family didn't trust them. There was a neighborhood truck that knew we couldn't buy from him, so he would drive by and throw us candy. Looking back, if I was a mom and heard that some guy was throwing candy at my kids out a window, I'd probably freak out.

Nowadays I buy from ice cream trucks almost every time I see one (not that often). I usually get strawberry shortcakes or a character with gumball eyes.

I would only ever get the character ones with the gumball eyes. My favorite was the war head kind but if they didn't have that I would get the spongebob one.

Screwball!! I haven't had one in years...I bet they'd taste disgusting now, and my 8 year old self was just dazzled by the gumball at the bottom of ice cream.

I was all excited to post a reply until I realized I already replied! I have to add that my fave big stick was the 7up one. I also forgot about the Mexican candy I used to always buy: Pico, those push-ups, and the tamarind rolls. Mmmmm.

The Good Humor strawberry shortcake bar (which seems to be a popular choice)- I still pick one up from 7-11 every now, and again.

When I was really young, I always chose a character ice cream bar; the ones with the bubblegum eyes. I remember preferring Mario, or a Ninja Turtle. They always looked deformed, but I loved 'em anyway!

I wasn't allowed to buy from the trucks. I think my mom said they were drug dealers, kidnappers, or some sort of bad guys. I asked her about it recently she said said that she must have made that up. We weren't given money for the ice cream truck because the store was cheaper. Here I went my whole life thinking my mom was afraid of the ice cream truck people.
