We had two days of the photoshoot because the first day stormed and our photographer likes to use natural light so she had to come back. One day I was wearing a maternity shirt that made me look huge, the other day my shirt was more flattering. At least I had some good pictures.

This. with a belly bandit underneath. I found a belted cardigan to be the most flattering. I was, of course bigger than normal, but I'm okay with that. I mean, I just had a baby.

@luckypenny: I love that photo! It's inspired me to go against my photographers suggestion to wear black - all white just feels so right to me for this kind of a shoot!

our photographer said it would be a good idea to wear all black because if LO has an accident during the naked baby shots, it wouldn't show up on our clothes plus she said black looks good on the black and white photos.

yeah, it seemed counterintuitive since black is sliming but I'm happy I went with white. I think it goes better with innocence of newborn

Beautiful pics!
I did our "newborn" pics at 4 months....I wore a white shirt and jeans. Love the way they came out. I like the simplicity of solid colors with baby pics and white just seems to go well.
